This application was my least useable for streaming music. It was full of interruptions and buggy. Amazon failed to deliver music with connection issues in the car. I’m deleting the application September 12, 2024 but never used it after dismal performance.

Both my iPad and iPhone have had multiple crashes during the first selection. Had to restart several times.

Love that you can find so many songs and make mutiple playlists but I accidentally added the same song on my playlist twice and now I can’t remove any songs from my playlist at all. Tried deleting the app and resigning in along with turning my phone off but it still won’t let me delete songs from my playlist.

I so like the music it’s just that you have to have or buy the app to skip the music or fast forward it and I don’t really like that so maybe have like a thing where it’s like you you get to do whatever you want with the music for a let’s do a month or 3 moths so that you guys can get more ratings. Thank you so very much 😇😇
  • (BEWARE) I want my time back

Advertising for this app makes it seem like you can listen to any song you wish - included with your prime membership. This is not so. I just spent HOURS recreating my liked songs and playlists - just to find out that Amazon instead plays what it considers “similar” songs …unless you upgrade to their unlimited subscription for a monthly fee. I feel violated. This was such a poor user experience which has left the most bitter taste in my mouth. I cannot fathom how a music app was allowed to exist this way. “Oh, you want to hear that catchy song you’ve been thinking of? Here’s something else entirely!”. Can you imagine if prime video played a different show, or episode, instead of the one you selected - or read a similar chapter from a wholly different audiobook than what you previously listened? Shame on them. I want those hours of my life back. This racket is making me consider canceling my base prime membership. Absolutely contemptible.

Somehow this $15 a month membership was added to my standard prime membership and I was paying it for a year without my consent, knowledge or even using amazon music even once. Beware these crooks

This app by Amazon is quite amazing. Dolby Atmos support is a welcomed feature. Ad free podcasts also lend to the value of this app. It's changed so much over the years so maybe it wasn't as good as it is now. Full featured and has allllll the music you'll ever want. Tens of millions actually. I've tried Spotify and Apple Music but Prime Music is superior in my opinion.
  • The worst music streamer

I’m on a three month free trial of this service, but I don’t even think I’m going to finish it. This is easily the worst of all the music streaming services and way too oriented on giving Amazon all of the control they want over your device and eyeballs.the alert to enable Alexa was optional the first couple times, but then you can’t open the app without agreeing to letting the monopolize your microphone for their voice. You also can’t change the behavior consistently from a bunch of nonsense covering up the artwork while playing music, so they can pester you with all kinds of info you didn’t ask for. Very par for the course for Amazon.
