  • Stop the shuffle!

This app was the best for a long time. Now you force shuffling of songs when I pay for a Prime membership? Deleting.
  • Terrible Changes

The shuffle feature and no longer being able to download has made the app worthless. I used to be able to listen to the Hamilton soundtrack in order. Now it plays a random Hamilton song followed up by a Beetle Juice song. Boo! The $140 prime membership is losing its value.

Ever since this update I can’t listen to my own playlist. I have to listen to a random song before mine. Stop trying to push Amazon premium on us.
  • Update Killed the App

The update literally no one wanted. Used to use the app 10 hours a day at work, because I could listen offline. Won’t be paying $9 a month for something that used to be free. Deleting the app. Never thought I would save money with Sirus XM, but I can get that for half the price. Feel like an idiot for telling g people how great the app (used to be) was.

I would give this five stars if they just let us choose the pictures for the covers of our playlists
  • From bad to unusable

Why pay for a music subscription when you can’t select the song you want to hear? Why pay more than every other streaming service for terrible recommendations? Why pay for Amazon Prime when my packages arrive when they feel like it (1-3 weeks)? Why pay for Prime if there’s a high likelihood I’ll be scammed and will have no recourse? Why? Is this some kind of sick joke?
  • Does NOT resume from last played song/playlist❗️

Very critical issue: does NOT resume playing from last song/playlist when closing and reopening the app❗️
  • Be prepared to pay, and pay, and pay

This was a good service but now they purposely made it bad so you pay for unlimited prime. I can’t do this because I know it will just be a matter of time before they create ultra unlimited prime at even higher price, then platinum ultra unlimited prime for even more money and then diamond platinum ultra unlimited prime for even more money. Their business model is not to provide a good service at a fair price, it is to keep the good service just out of reach, until you pay more money. Don’t be their puppet on a string, cut the string now and don’t join, it’s the only way you can win with this behemoth company that won’t be happy until they squeeze every penny out of you.
  • Did the last update leave the mic on?

My car thinks the mic is on at all times now. Carplay only plays through my center channel at low volume because it thinks I am trying to voice control. It switches to low volume out of one speaker. Seemed to happen in the last month. Really annoying. How can I fix this. I tried disabled microphone access in permissions. No change.
  • Just a radio

Amazon music is useless now that I can’t have a playlist. The shuffle feature puts terrible songs I would never listen to on a “playlist” that makes the app a radio. It is a step down from Pandora where at least I can “thumbs down” songs I don’t like on Pandora.
