But, it’s as low as I could give.
It does not work when trying to scan code on cardboard add.

The app does exactly what it is supposed to do. It gives a brief description of the product, shows a picture (or multiple pics in some cases), sometimes a video, and usually provides links for support and sometimes links to Amazon for additional purchases. Its primary use is to verify that the product you have is legitimate, and it does exactly this. Not sure why all the negative reviews or comments about not knowing what it’s for. It is used to verify the legitimacy of a product you are purchasing or (in the case of Amazon and other online retailers) received but can still return.
Useless

It does nothing. I have loaded the app twice ands it didn’t do anything. It won’t scan the code to bring up anything
How do you mess up the main thing the app is supposed to do?

The camera is a fixed focus and the exposure is super high so you can’t even scan things
Terrible execution

The camera is like pointing a thermal camera at a hot sidewalk. It’s like solid white barely able to see anything. Somehow I got it to scan and basically it just confirms that the sticker verifying someone wanting you to believe the item is authentic must be an authentic because STICKER.
Focus

It will not focus on the QR code
This Just Tells You the Amazon Product Description

After noticing those “Transparency” barcodes on the products I purchased online, I initially assumed that these transparent labels indicated that companies had obtained a certification from an external organization. I expected to learn about the products’ supply chain, environmental impact, labor practices, animal testing, etc.
After downloading the app, I was disappointed to discover it’s an Amazon-only initiative. It only provides Amazon’s product description and country of origin, making it useless. It seems like Amazon is deceiving customers into thinking their purchase is verified to be less harmful.

Downloaded the app twice to my iPhone 16. Each time tried to scan got a yellowish image that could not read the code. Not useful
