  • Quite unstable on Sequoia

When I upgraded from Mojave to Sequoia I’ve noticed a lot more crashes (e.g. every time my computer sleeps, and once in a while otherwise). Never happened on the old OS!
  • Shared folders became in web links

The shared folders became links to the web version of OneDrive instead of being available locally
  • Won’t store to external hard drive

No matter what you do, it will keep storing downloaded files on the internal hard drive

Used to be seamless. Now can’t save files correctly, syncing issues, can’t open files. It is a mess.
  • Trash

This app is definitely a trash. I have to use it because of working. I wish my company could switch to other platforms. Onedrive keeps popping up different warnings and windows, I have no idea what is happening. Definitely trash.
  • MacBook M2 working well in 2025

Everything is working fine with OneDrive on my MacBook M2. I most of my 200+GB in the cloud, but keep a small portion with Files On Demand always offline. No issues on Mac, but there are glitches with the Files app with OneDrive on iPhone/iPad/iOS.
  • Cannot set OneDrive Folder

Here it is almost 3 months into 2025 and we still cannot create a OneDrive folder in our home directories with APFS. What is Microsoft even doing?
  • Does not sync

Is not syncing my files, it did for the past 2 years just fine.
  • Why sooo many updates

The app works fairly well, but swear there’s a “bug fix” update twice a week. I have to manually close the app to install the update. Please try to limit once a month like the old Windows patch day.
  • Shared Folders Have Not Worked for Months

I know I am not the only one experiencing this but for over half a year, shared folders only show up as website bookmarks on collaborator’s machines meaning that even though I pay for a family plan, no one in my family is able to collaborate using the native apps and must go to the onedrive website, use the web apps exclusively. The functionality used to work but it is well documented that this functionality has been broken across MacOS and Windows for months and months with zero statements or updates from Microsoft on the issue. You cannot charge for a feature you don’t offer. Please fix this or I’m done. I don’t need Copilot…I just want shared folders.
