    Scopely has now made a collector game into a slot machine. You can’t work towards a goal anymore unless you pay to access a character. They’ll say that the metrics indicate that more players are getting access earlier but it isn’t true. It’s a matter of RNG/gambling and their the house. Congratulations? You’ve turned a fan base into mindless zombies opening worthless orbs in an attempt to beat the odds you set. Terrible player experience.

  • What did you guys do to the graphics?

    I never really write reviews for games but I felt writing a negative one here is warranted. Before the last update, everything was fine, 5 stars even. Now, the graphics have completely changed and the game lags like crazy and downloads what I assume to be textures at every turn. I’m not sure who asked for this because the graphics (for a mobile game, anyways) were completely fine before. It’s so laggy I’d be surprised if I get over 25fps, and that’s on an iPhone 15 Pro. Please just change the graphics back to the way they were, the game doesn’t even look that much more impressive. At least add an option to revert to previous graphics settings or add more robust and plentiful display/graphics settings.

    This app is total trash. Constant lag, missing icons, missing unit names, frequent crashes. I spend more time waiting for the lag to catch up then I do playing the game.

    I never had any issues till this newest update that make the game super slow and laggy! Please bring back the smooth game otherwise I think I will delete it soon

  • Graphics update ruined performance

    I finally received the graphics update I’ve been hearing complaints about for months. It has dramatically decreased my enjoyment of this game. My performance has bottomed out in terms of frame rate and stability. Loading times are way longer while animations are vastly slower and choppy. I was accustomed to 60fps with bright visibility characters and stages and now I can barely see any details because every stage is incredibly dark and shaded. Its terrible. Even the new victory screen hides everything in ugly blue so I can’t even see the team closeup I used to enjoy. Horrendous update. I’m not sure I can continue playing and spending money on this game knowing this graphics update is permanent.

    So, my previous review is below and it was at 4 stars before. Now my new review is above the line: I would’ve given 3 stars, but this new graphics upgrade is REALLY bad and is hurting my eyes. In Addition, there is a new Issue with this audio when you fight. The SFX Audio is Faulty now! I really hope you all fix these bugs and adhere to the complaints of your long time customers. I’ve been playing for years, and would like to continue. Please fix graphics and audio soon. reduce the Pay for Play. Thank you. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - OLD REVIEW: This is definitely a great game! I’ve actually been playing for years, but at one point discontinued because you got stuck at one point. Then, I began replaying earlier this year and been soon it ever since after a few years, and it has improved with time! There are a few bugs that need to be worked on and have gotten worse, and that is why I didn’t give 5 stars. One, the game restarts and has error messages more often now when I try to load it up. Two, it takes much longer to load up the game and is now after this most recent update load time is forever. Three, the bug when CPT America and Iron Man causes a glitch when they attack together that freezes the rest of the gameplay (STILL NOT FIXED Over a Year Later) which is annoying, and could with a fix better the game play experience. Nevertheless, the mini-games, prizes and challenges make the game more worthwhile. Ya’ll fix those bugs, and maintain them and you may very well have more 5-stars. Thanks!

    Today I downloaded the update on this game and the graphics have completely changed, now it looks like a beta version of the game.

    New graphic settings are terrible. Game is harder to see, it’s almost like playing on a colorblind setting. Colors don’t look right at all and it’s making it a pain to play.
