  • Useless

I made edits to slides on my desktop over 3 hours ago and Google slides on the mobile app do not reflect the changes. Therefore, unable to “work on the go” as advertised. Useless.

  • Chromecast doesn’t work

I can cast via my Netflix app, but slides can’t find my other devices to cast at all. Very frustrating & glitchy. No real tech support available either.
  • Google Slide glitched out on me

I’m working to turn an assignment in right now and has to resize the fonts. However, when I highlighted the text, it couldn’t highlight the very last line, and I am unable to change the font size. The moment I made the fonts size zero, I couldn’t enlarge them again. Please fix this.

I really like Google Slides on the computer version, but on the mobile version (this version), it’s very messed up. A couple controls were taken away, and the UI just got super simplified, and now I can’t figure anything out. I can’t get any images from the web, I have to download them. My main problem: Fix the controls. Please. I can’t find anything, and I can’t do anything on the mobile version. And I know what it’s like on computer because I use this at school.

I guess I could say it’s a semi-good quality app? I literally can’t copy and paste something on one slide to another. I’ve been trying for the past hour. I click copy, switch slides, click paste. Nothing happens. I do it again. NOTHING HAPPENS. I click to go on another slide. All of a sudden all the slides freeze and nothing works. The app closes out of nowhere, and when I open the project back up, half the things I did were reverted back to its original state from yesterday. All my work wasn’t saved when It crashed unexpectedly. I’m really sad. This is due tomorrow :( Really confusing for beginners (my opinion. although I’ve been using for like a year and a half, still confused about where to find some options). I would highly recommend the web/pc version, easier to navigate, less glitchy, and doesn’t crash every five minutes. This feels poorly made, almost like an excuse to say “wdym, we didn’t forget about the mobile users!”
