So difficult to use, so difficult to customize. Every update, they change everything. They opt you in for so many things that are unnecessary and then hide the settings deeeep in random spots. Just awful. Firefox is better in every way.

  • Keyboard/Trackpad support issues

This could be a great browser except for 2 glaring issues while using a separate keyboard and trackpad. Specifically I’m using the Apple magic keyboard case with trackpad First, two-finger tapping on the trackpad (which mimics the right-click) no longer opens the context menu that includes “Open in new tab.” This works fine in Safari. Similarly, Cmd + Click on links does not open the link in a new tab. In Chrome you have to long press on links to get this context menu. Second, when you type Cmd + T to open a new tab, the cursor focus does not go to the search field, so you have to then navigate with the track pad or touch the field on the screen in order to be able to type. Basic design flaw and easily fixed. So frustrating. If you could fix these it would keep me from having to go back to Safari. Will update this review if the app ever updates these basic features.
  • Better Experience than Safari

Don’t get me wrong, Apple first party apps are good for what they are, but fortunately, I find myself going back to chrome due to the Google/Android feel I love so much with browsing. Google is just more user friendly and easier to navigate than Apple. I’ve always loved the browsing experience and it just WORKS which I’m sad to say isn’t the same for Safari. Great job Guys! Almost makes me want to go back to my Samsung!

It’s good with everything but chrome extensions won’t work. It says it won’t work on my version of chrome but it won’t let me update it.
