  • New customer beware

I had a really frustrating experience with DoorDash. I placed an order, waited for it to arrive, and then received a notification saying it was delivered—but it was nowhere to be found. It seems like the driver may have taken it, but the real issue was how customer service handled the situation. When I reached out, I was told that my brand new account had already "maxed out" on reimbursements, which made no sense since this was my first issue. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative hung up on me. I understand mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was unacceptable. I was left without my food and no resolution, which is extremely disappointing. I hope DoorDash improves their policies and customer service because this experience has insured I won’t use their service again.
  • AI descriptions are very misleading

I hate the AI descriptions in the app. Some of them are misleading at best and fraudulent at worst. If I don’t notice that something is an AI description and order it and don’t get what I expect, how is this not a deceptive business practice? Who pays? Me? The restaurant? This is no different from me selling a “car,” DoorDash deciding to label it as a “Ferrari “ when all I am selling is a 20-year-old Dodge. Do better.

Just get your food yourself! They have ripped me off twice now. I’ve ordered food for it to never be delivered, even with it saying in app it wasn’t, they still have yet to give me my money back. On top of that, delivery fees are ridiculous, they don’t pay there drivers enough to live off of. All around just another corrupt corporation that will rob you!!
