I paid $29.99 for this unit to convert WMV2/WMA2 but this app does not recognize it. There seems to be a number of other apps that do the same conversions for free. I guess I just run out'a luck :-(

I have tried many converters. I like to use Final Cut pro, but in the end I need to be able to emal videos to non-Apple people and convert to various formats to work on the web. And this has become the go-to tool. I have had it for at least 3 versions of the Mac OS with no problems. (I have not yet upgrated to Catalina because of know issues with other programs: so I can't speak to that).

I've tried multiple times to convert a 4K 60fps FCP MOV file to a 4K MP4 file. The conversion is terrible as the footage skips around and does not even come close to the original footage. I'd also like a refund if possible.

This is the most user unfriendly, sorriest excuse for software ever! Among the myriad of things wrong with it, when editing multiple items for things like audio effects… for example reducing volume a user would expect that when you click “Apply to All” that it would actually apply the settings to all selected files… but it does not. Try to select multiple files in the edit dialog and the whole app crashes. What a waste of $40!
