This is supposed to be a cutter/joiner. I could not find a way to prevent it from reencoding.

Does not support drag & drop of videos onto the app icon. Asks "Are you sure you want to quit?" (TWICE!) when you quit, with buttons labeled "Yes" and "No", violating Apple design standards since 1984. Exports two files when I only want one. Generally looks like a crummy Java port of some Windows app, rather than a Mac app. Doesn't let me pick the output resolution I want (my source image is square, so I want the output to be square too, but there are no square choices). Giving it two stars because it does manage to get the job done, even though it looks like the designers have never actually used a Mac.

Just ordered yesteday because it looked user friendly. I’m very new to editeing videos and do not do anthing fancy. Basically just want to cut off of the begining or end and combine videos. It does not cut off begining or end of videos and it combines HORRIBLY. When i combined videos the audio was like in slow motion and you couldn’t understand any of it. Just horrible and the worst $15 i have ever spent. Also, for $15 you do not even get all the features. Beware!!

They scam you - all videos are imported at a landscape position. In order to rotate correctly to display the video show correctly, you have to purchase $14.99. Such a joke! DO NOT GET!

Cannot upgrade, get a null pointer from the app store.

Took two high quality mp4s 100 MB and 25MB. App produced one 250MB file of wretched godawful quality

Reallly cute how it appears to be free - because you don't get the same resolution output as your original video. If you want the same resolution, you need to "Video Enhance" (as if you're getting something special), for 14.99. Why not just state that upfront. More people would pay. Sneaky is bad business. BIG Let down.

Couple of issues with this software: (1) The audio is not preserved. I merged two videos with surround and the resulting file lost the 5.1 and it created a stereo version. (2) If you give it a ‘non-standard’ aspect. It will not preserve it. I merged two videos that were 720x464 and it created a 640x480 losing resolution and creating black bars top and bottom. The only alternative was to create a 1080 version but the process required re-encoding so it too a long time and the resulting file was 3 times more than the other two added together. In other words, this does not stitch the moves together untouch as I had hoped. I’m giving it 2 starts instead of 1 because it is free.
