  • Worst app ever

If you ever wondered what an app made by crappy Disney IT would be like, give ESPN+ a go. It never works and support is nonexistent.
  • Ads ads ads and than more ads

Dear god there is no way they could possibly cram more ads into this app. It is unbearable. It is so painful to get on this app knowing you will waste 90% of the time on ads while just trying to watch a 30 second clip.

It’s good for scores. When it loads, when you watch 5 minutes of ads, and if the right thing pops up when you click something.
  • On demand complete access

With on demand shows even if it wasn’t we do not have tv access the on demand replays of the events should be allowed with + subscription. Other apps deny the live one but allow the on demand viewing. With the change on how people are cutting cable, satellite, etc bills. ESPN needs to change.
  • Won’t let me edit

Trying to remove teams I’m following, get error that states I cannot add teams. I’m not trying to add teams, I’m trying to delete teams. So now I’ll just delete the app. What a waste. Have ESPN added to my Disney+ & Hulu w/Live TV subscription. May just choose to cancel all. If a major corporation can’t make a simple app work, they don’t deserve my money.
  • Disappointing

I’ve been using this app for years and key problems still haven’t been resolved. Video clips rarely load (I usually attempt them via notifications). User interface makes it frustrating to access the information I’m looking for. When on the scores page, the league suggestions in the top bar are not customizable or automatically customized to your settings or what you view. Worst of all, I get notifications for things I never signed up for. It’ll be a relief to delete my account and remove the app.
  • Negative 1 million stars

Why can’t we give apps negative star ratings? I just submitted a review, complaining about the app’s failure to stream content. In pointing out that the app development team consists entirely of idiots, I neglected to mention another counting-to-1 level task at which they consistently fail: You can’t rearrange the order of your favorites in the list of sports you want to follow. Oh, you can view the list, click Edit, and you get an interface in which you can drag the items to different positions in the list. But it’s an exercise in futility because the list of sports returns to what it was before you tried to change the order. The folks at ESPN are just the most pathetic and least intelligent creatures to ever walk the Earth. A collection of chicken droppings could produce a better app!
  • Unable to edit favorites

Can not delete a favorite team, when attempting to remove a favorite, the app thinks I’m adding a favorite with a dialogue box stating that the maximum number of favorites have been reached. All I’m trying to do is remove a favorite.
  • Room for improvement

ESPN+ has so much potential to be a heavily utilized app, however it needs interface improvements. The ability to customize your feed and or rearrange placement of scores/news updates would be greatly beneficial. Avid sports lovers like myself would enjoy slightly better interface design. The app also seems somewhat bland due to the amount of features allowed. A watch queue system should be implemented. Also it appears that downloads are available or encouraged, yet error messages prevent downloads for subscribers. I would appreciate less news on the screens. The visuals of the app seem redundant with the consecutive amount of thumbnails to choose from. Please fix. Also, it would be cool to select a favorite team and have a background or banner of some kind with a greeting including our name. Thank you.

I’ve moved on to TheScore for all my sports info. When ESPN will add other widget features that aren’t simply on just the Lock Screen then maybe I’ll come back.
