It’s your tiny text companion! ⁕ Less Is More Tot’s single window design and simple formatting controls mean no more hunting for that chunk of text. Seven color-coded dots let you organize your notes while keeping them from getting out of hand. ⁕ Dark / Light Mode Designed to look stunning both day and night, Tot takes full advantage of iOS and macOS themes. ⁕ Small Footprint Stays out of the way on the desktop with minimal chrome and can even be controlled via the Menu bar. On mobile, each dot is just a swipe away. ⁕ iCloud Sync Seamlessly syncs your text across iOS and macOS using iCloud so you can capture thoughts wherever you are. ⁕ Markdown Support Full support for rich or plain text and even automatically translates text to Markdown for handy use on the web. Have an RTF file you need marked up? No problem! ⁕ Killer Keyboard Tot puts common text operations on the keyboard and keeps track of word and character counts as you type. Available for macOS, iOS, and watchOS.

Hardly a day goes by without me using this app several times. It is great to have a place to park and edit text. And seemingly instantly it is available on all of my devices.
  • I love it

It seemlessly syncs to my phone, watch, and computer and I have literally no complaints beside the fact that I wish there were Mac widgets. I trust this is something they're working on, but untill that happens, with how much I paid for this on the phone and watchOS, I cannot give it a 5.

I would prefere white or light gray background, so either give select your own color or these two colors options as well.
  • Love the app, but will there be markdown?

I was wondering if there are any plans on implementing a markdown as a "preview option?" So plain, rich, and markdown? It would be so nice since I find myself using markdown all the time over RTF and Plain Text, and I would truly love it if this app could support it when previewing.
  • This is 100% what I've been looking for

I've wanted this exact app for a while. I wish I knew it existed sooner. I was even learning to code so I could write this very app but I never got far enough to make something this good. It's almost like you saw my wish list and made it exactly to my specs, and then a little better. Thanks!

It won't launch apparently due to an iClud sync issue

Such a simple yet useful utility. Happy to have paid the price for the iOS companion version.

This app is bloody fantastic. But one star removed because 7 tabs simply isn't enough. I need double that. And not quite sure why it's limited to 7. There is plenty of room across the top for more, please consider expanding out this wonderful app to at least 14 or 15 or even 12, pretty please!
  • Phenomenally practical! I use it daily

fantastic product. I use it numberous times day. when trying to remmber numbers, dates, figures, names etc. I quickly hit my keyboard shortcut to open it. Jot down some notes, move to a different app, copy and paste it in. Also when someone says something that you want to jot down somwhere quick to review later. For example, your in a meeting and IT tells you how to trouble shoot something. Bam, press the hotkey, type, hotkey, done. Now you can look it up anytime or transfer it to teh appropriate notebook or meeting notes section etc. Highly Recommend.

I use this on Mac on iPhone. Five tabs are my to do lists — which for me are large and simple lists. I have the iphone widget on my phone home screen. The last two tabs are for transient notes. I've bought them all. This does te job best. Ulysses is what I use for writing.
