  • Great little Utility for your desktop

I've used iPulse from icon factory since it was introduced. It can be re-size for any monitor. I have it the corner of my second monitor. What makes this shine is at a glance to can see "Real time" what your computer is doing, CPU usage, drive activity, network access and more, in an attractive little circle. I would recommend going into preferences and turning on "Show Text"for CPU usage, memory in use, total disk space used on startup disk, and Network activity. Pros: At a glance to can see your CPU usage (aka. why is my computer acting slow), or your disk storage is now full. Also with a right click on the center you can get to diagnostic tools like Activity monitor or network utiltiy. Cons: This really doesn't show an extreme indepth view of your computer activity. It also doesn't have graphs of activity over time. If you want that, get iStatisitica Pro. Also iPulse comes with 7 customizable Graphical looks. When iPulse was first introduces devs made dozens of custom Graphical looks for iPulse. I'm using Purple Turbine. Wish icon factory would sell the others as a package, as a in App purchase.

I've been a big fan of iPulse for many years. Something changed with macOS catalina, however - since the upgrade, iPulse can't tell me how full my hard drive is. Used to work fine. I hope an update is coming.
  • Pretty but not all that useful to me

I was hoping for more information, e.g. temperatures (yes, if I were to pay more attention to the description...). That is the problem with things you cannot preview. It is only after downloading and running that I realized what the circle icon did and that is pretty much all it does. You can click on the icon and see details, but selecting where to click is problematic to see what you want to see. You have to get used to the colors or to the “o’clock’ position to click. I suppose once one gets used to using it 24/7 for a few weeks, it becomes more user friendly but I am not that patient, sorry.

iPulse has been my “go to” system monitor for years. I was thrilled to learn that not only would it be supported Mojave, but actually re-written and improved! The compact presentation is wonderfully data-rich. It get’s many positive comments from others, and helps to quickly highlight any potential performance anomolies with your Mac. I strongly recommend iPulse!
  • Beautiful, Informative, Concise

My sense is that it’s a beautiful utility capable of providing a wealth of information. I’ve been using this for as long as it has been around, on several iterations of iMac, compared it against other similar utilities for system status, but keep coming back to it. It’s very customizable, but I’ve got a favorite I’ve modified that gives me time, date, memory usage, and CPU activity, and has bubble messages it I want to drill down into the details. Even then, it is capable of so much more...

it put a little icon in my menu bar, but you can’t get it to show anything but a white bar, you can click on it all you want but it does nothing.

iPulse is a beautiful system monotring app. It presents a wealth of information at a glance, and details can be viewed just by hovering the cursor over the app. iPulse is highly customizable and a very solid application from Iconfactory.

I just downloaded & installed iPulse, at first glance I knew this would be the go to app for a quick diagnostic view. The hud is well done and compact, with the ability to resize to your preference.Being older I needed to max the size out. As I get comfortable with the app & its display I am certain that I can make the graphics much smaller. As I went through each option for each view I gained a better understand of the app. If you have not used an app such as iPulse before I recommend going through each setting for each feature. Play around with colors and opacity. I spent about a half hour just playing, as I played I learned. Great app and well worth the price.

This little application is my favorite system monitoring utility! It’s great to be able to see what’s going on with my computer without having to clutter up my menubar. Plus it takes up so little screen real estate. It’s totally customizable, which is geting rarer on the Mac OS lately. Beautiful application!

I have used iPulse for years, finally now working correctly with rootless System Integity Protection enabled Macs MacOS Sierra. A great utility requiring just a quick glance to determine how things are running on your mac. HIGHLY recommended.
