  • Way better than Apple Reminders (or whatever it’s called)

    By kaylsaladgirl
I haven’t used Apple’s version of Tasks in so long that I clearly forgot what it’s even named. I love Google Tasks. Syncs across my devices so flawlessly it’s like my mind is just projecting the image onto my screen from its subconscious. It’s like Apple, Google, and Android finally started cooperating. But this isn’t a fairytale nor is it science fiction, and neither is this app. Basically all Google’s apps replace the iterations of Apple’s on my iPad. Whenever I upgrade my iPad, I delete all the apps I can and install the shiny, new, red/yellow/blue/green color-coded, all-around-better versions of those apps. I never liked the complicated nature of the iCloud, and when I ran out of free Google Cloud space, upgrades were way cheaper.

  • Love this app!

    By WhatsupCoopCoop
It helps me organize all of my to do list and stay on track. I love once I’m done I can check it off and it disappears so I cannot see it. But I can review at a later time if I need to
  • Share option

    By bloorg112
I’d give it 5 stars but it seems to be lacking the ability to share with others. Some tasks need to be performed by other members of your team so I feel it could benefit from that option. Other than that it has been very useful.

The deal breakers are the inability to create nested multilevel lists and inability to expand and collapse nested lists. There are quite a few task apps which use Google’s API as a much more useable app than this. I absolutely loved GoTasks but the developer has since abandoned the app. Others such as gTasks are also nice but the free version will expire and you will be required to pay the $6 annual subscription to continue using it. is another one which also requires a subscription. I really wished GoTasks developer would come back. So far gTasks has been the most intuitive and useful.
  • Not Bad - Needs task count

    By Kappelhoff
This is a pretty decent and simple task app. Certainly not as robust as many other apps like Things or Todoist, however it integrates well with other Google apps. It could go further though and provide little things like showing the amount of tasks next to a task list to give a quick overview of whether there are even tasks in that list.
  • Lock Screen widget

    By airic
Would like to see Lock Screen widget support.
  • Simple Beauty

This is one of my favourite Google Apps that has taken me away from carrying a note pad and organising tasks in my life in a stunningly simple app.
  • Works great! Buuuut..

I love it, only want 1 additional feature: sharing a task list so that you and whoever you share it with can be granted read/write permission. For example: a shopping list that you and your spouse could both add to and subtract from.
