  • Crash too much

    It wouldn’t be bad if it didn’t crash so much. I have an iPhone 12 Pro Max and as soon as I boot the app it crashes as soon as I click on a program to watch

    Use to like the app but now every time I click on a show to watch, the app stops working. Deleted the app and reinstalled it, same thing happens. Haven’t been able to watch anything on my phone in weeks. The new update did nothing to fix it.

    The fact that this app doesn’t have PIP is highly frustrating. I’d rather go back to Hulu live.

    i have zero issues with the layout or content, my issue lies with the fact this app takes ages to simply open on my phone, i know my internet plays a part but i've closed and reopened this app several times and i still only get as far as the logo, just for reference i was streaming Hulu mere minutes early with zero issues.

  • Way Too Many Commercials

    There are way too many commercials for a streaming service that is so expensive. On top of that, whenever you are watching a show, the streaming gets stuck when trying to load all the adds. Very frustrating. Switching to see how Hulu does.

    You can see what is coming up in the next hour. You just see what program is currently on. The worst experience. Bring back the old live guide.

    There are a TON of problems I won’t even get into. What really bugs me is having to log into the TV account like every few days. I pay for this darn service (with another price hike). I want to turn on the TV and watch. Same TV, same location but guessing it’s their way to verify you constantly. Now app on phone doesn’t always work, just spins and spins. Have to get up and go to the computer to log in my TV. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Problem, too bad.

  • Wants a copy of my drivers license

    It’s nearly $80 with fees and taxes per month. It offers tennis channel two, but for some reason not tennis channel one where the live commentary is. If I use the setting that tells it it doesn’t need to ask who is watching because it’s only me, it starts making me sign in again much more often. Which on a Roku is time consuming. But my biggest complaint, and it’s happened twice already, after you’ve used YouTube TV for a few months, it’ll stop taking your money one day. It will make it seem like there was an error with the card you’ve been using for months. But then if you investigate (it will not be obvious) it will tell you that YouTube tv will not take your money until you verify your identity and location. The only way to do that is to submit a copy of your drivers license to Google. Also it will not accept if your address on your drivers license isn’t current. If the ip location address is not the address on your drivers license you can not reconnect service. There’s no customer service who can bypass this. I stayed on the phone a whole Tuesday to find out that. They should not need to have a picture of your face and government name and current address to sell you streaming if you’re paying for it and they are tracking how many devices are accessing service simultaneously. It’s basically conventional cable but much less convenient , with less variety and it wants your data more than it wants your subscription money

  • Closed captioning in the middle of screen

    The closed captioning appears on the middle of the screen and usually covers up the face of the person that is actually talking. This doesn’t happen all the time seems to be more related when you’re viewing the live guide and then go back to the show you were watching the close captioning is in the middle of the screen.
