  • Convoluted mess

This is one of those games where the devs try way too hard to be clever and it doesn’t work. It’s just mess and you feel like a cat chasing it’s tail

Inventory items go missing. This is the 2nd time it has happened. The first time the crowbar vanished and made entering the hospital impossible. So I restarted on a different device. Now my bottle of water went missing, making the developing of the pics impossible. I will have to restart again. Save your time and money.

I enjoyed the first two games in the series but so far, in hours since downloading and trying to play this game, I am only met with glitches, many pop ups saying something with wrong, unable the change settings. I have the newest iphone and OS and have had to delete and redownloaded several time with no change to game play. A real shame, I would have liked to actually play.
  • Amazing as usual!!

If I had complaints about this episode I would say that there were too many puzzles and some were quite vague which made them hard to figure out. As much as I love the excitement of exploring a new area, there almost seemed to be too many areas. 6 or 7 areas, all with at least 8 or 9 different rooms. Something you receive from solving a puzzle is supposed to connect to something you forgot about because it was at the beginning of the game. There's almost too many things to remember. However, this will never stop me from playing it. This is, hands-down, the greatest story line ever. The way the information is given to the player is brilliantly done! Also, the quotes in every single game and the gorgeous atmosphere is the best I've ever seen. You learn so much about Alice, and Hugo, and Hawthorne Manor, and what really went down. And then at the end, it still leaves you with a mystery for you to figure out on your own. Definitely genius gameplay!
  • A worthy end(?)

I love the Forever Lost series, and this is a worthy finale. It’s longer than the previous two games in the series, and even more challenging. The puzzles in Forever Lost 3 fit even more neatly into the story and the environments than before, which I find far more interesting than your standard hidden object/slider puzzle/combination lock puzzle games in the genre. There are plenty of great puzzles in 3, and I didn’t find any of them to be so frustrating I couldn’t solve them without hints (although putting the game down for a while and coming back with fresh eyes helped). The camera remains a welcome feature, and helps avoid endless backtracking. The atmosphere is spooky, but it’s obvious that the developers have tongues planted firmly in cheeks, which lightens the mood (and occasionally provides punny solutions). I found the SD version to look just fine on both my iPhone and my iPad, and it didn’t hinder gameplay in the least, but I guess if you have the extra $ to spend on HD, why not. The game experience is definitely worth it, either way.
  • I actually love this series!

I hope you make more! It’s so captivating. Only thing I don’t like is all the flashing😅 But the storyline is super good.

I loved Forever Lost 1 & 2. This version was so great in many ways: •An expansive map with tons of interesting and unique areas, •Lots of creative scenes and ideas (inside Ferris B.Video Game) •Quirkinesses, Ingenuity and even Humor....despite the Gloomy atmosphere But, and it’s a big BUTT (think: Kardashian) Too many of the items, either to use, combine or incorporate into the puzzles, or just the puzzle....went to the Extreme - both ways. Either super easy: •Pole Leg: all chalk arrows erased except the one pointing to it Or waaaaayyyyyy our of left field! ⚾️.......................... 🙌🏻 I wouldn’t categorize as difficult - just confusing.... ...You’d actually expect people to think THAT Abstractly..?? The one that takes the Cake? Ferris Mueller's Game. The reason so many people think there’s a major GLITCH and end up leaving the game, is because you don’t expect having to ask the same exact questions repeatedly, while picking up - then giving back - the same breakfast tray, ...over and over....and so thinking somethings wrong....you try and back out - and can’t. It’s neither challenging or stimulating...or even fun. It was absolutely ANNOYING. Not sure who thought that Gem up.... or why no one in Testing didn’t question it..... but it was frustratingly pointless to say the least. But the madness continued: •The Lines on the Book Bindings = Numbers on Drawer •Snake Painting “Turns” = Compass •Token/Coin = “To Ken”/Letter I mean, come on..!! 🤸🏼‍♀️ I mean it’s not simply a stretch,..... it’s snapped off and dragging behind a Mack truck.....lol....🤦🏼‍♀️ I’ll update when through- but had to add my initial comments. 😉
  • Fun, but...

Very well done. Only complaint is that some of the puzzle solutions are extremely obscure and a bit of a stretch. That’s different from being “difficult.” I don’t know how anyone solves this without hints. Overall I’m happy. It is a fun game!
