Bugs
2By Carson WhitlockI used to love Apple Maps. There was no other comparison they were the best. But the past year the dropping pins systems is Terribly buggy. Some times you can set a pin with a name and sometimes you can not. The ones that do let you is 50/50 whether it actually saves it as the correct name or correct address. -
Added Ads
1By Husband Father SonWith Apple, I expect a more premium experience that does not rely on advertising to subsidize the user experience. -

No way to give real feedback
3By pled3iI mostly use apple maps for maps. I don’t like google or any other privacy stealing app. That as a baseline, this app does several things better than say google for navigation, like telling you how many stop lights to expect before your turn. That being said. It’s *extremely* unfortunate that there is no way to crowd source feedback to this app. there has been far too many times that this app has suggested to me bus stops that don’t exist, or routes that include 18 minute detours that are unnecessary. Let’s fix it. If it wasn’t for these minor issues this app would be almost perfect. Why insult your users? -
Poor and inefficient instructions
1By CM8675309Apple Maps does a terrible job providing instructions, in comparison to how humans used to drive their cars before we use electronic maps, as well as compared to other mapping companies like Waze. Apple Maps will literally take you 3 miles out of the way to take you on multiple large streets, circling you around as if in a spiral in order to get you to a residential address, instead of just sending you to that residential address in a route that takes one major street and then driving down that street.
