This powerful password manager is clean, intuitive, well integrated into iOS, and regularly updated by the creator. The free version is excellent for people who don’t want to spend any money, but I highly recommend purchasing the paid version to access the advanced features.

Love it and use it with Yubikeys! They are also super kind/generous! I have multiple phones and i was asking them how can i move my $90 premium between my 2 phones — they gave me a code to redeem 😊❤️ Already was happy with how it beats PC password managers, its compatibility and features you can tell is made by someone who USES what we use and know what we like and need to do! I was looking for an alternate to Bitwarden that gave me more control of where my passwords were stored. Found out about KeePass but the UX and features of other KeePass clients was severely lacking until I tried Strongbox. It is a great example of properly merging excellent form and function and is the best KeePass password manager that I have used.

Strongbox has a tremendous amount of functionality, settings, options, etc. It's nice for those who are more than serious about security and want the ability to tinker with it and have more granular control. But don't let that put you off, because if you'd rather have something that works perfectly fine right out of the box, its well suited for that too. There are many choices available for how you can sync it. One of their more recently added features that stood out to me was WiFi Sync. This allows the user to sync their Strongbox database with their other enabled Apple devices using WiFi. As nicely as it works, there is no more need for a cloud service to sync it and it is super simple to set up and get going. I could literally go on and on about about how awesome Strongbox is, but honestly the best thing to do is to try their free trial offer to more fully understand and appreciate what this whole "Strongbox experience" is all about. It's more than just an app. The very responsive and generous help that they provide is just thick icing on the cake. I highly recommend it!

I really like the way this app looks and I like all the options and workflow. Unfortunately it just doesn’t play well with KeePassXC on a Windows PC and iCloud. If I edit my database on my PC and use iCloud to sync the file it becomes unrecognizable in the Strongbox app. The file is perfectly viewable and up-to-date in the iCloud folder but Strongbox requires that I reattach the file any time it is changed on my PC. I read there are several workarounds including changing the way KeePassXC saves the file. But KeePassXC says it is dangerous to change the way the file is saved. I hope the Dev team can get this app to work better with Windows PCs in the future.
