Before downloading, go check out this company’s rating on better business bureau. Currently sitting at an ‘F’. To sum up our own personal frustrations : - Customer service is nonexistent besides a chat bot offering condescending unhelpful FAQs - the thermometer did not work - the app does not work - women’s health issues especially surrounding birth control are scary and tense and the fact that they charge a subscription but offer no real-time support means you are facing these scary situations that are literally life or death with 0 understanding of what is going wrong. They also habitually charge people to renew even after you have canceled your plan. Bas practices, bad people, and the stakes are way too high for birth control to be so willfully negligent with your customers.

After 18 months of continued use, this app has been incredibly accurate predicting my period, and therefore, accurately accounting for my ovulation. It has been an incredible non-hormonal birth control. I know nothing is ever 100% but it helps you stay safe. More than anything, I love how much I’ve learned about my body in the process. It’s empowering. Every woman/person should feel this much understanding of how their body works.

DO NOT BUY THIS SERVICE!! I’m not sure why this app has so many good reviews, but if you’re planning to use the thermometer (instead of Apple Watch or Oura ring), don’t bother. The thermometer almost never pairs successfully with the app, so it’s not possible to use the app for real-time monitoring of ovulation. I could get mine to pair once or twice a week when I first started using the product, but it no longer works at all. What’s even worse is that NC’s customer support is just as buggy. There’s no way to speak to their customer service team. You get stuck in an endless loop of account verification. The app also doesn’t understand timezones, so if you travel a lot (like I do), it will mess up your data - even if you’re taking your temperature at the equivalent time that you would at home, it will save as a different time because you’re in a different time zone. (Eg if you’re usually on PST, the app will interpret 9am EST as 9am PST, rather than 6am PST.) Lastly, the thermometer is loud. It beeps loudly, so it will wake up anyone you’re sleeping with, on top of the data it records being useless. This has become such a frustrating part of my morning routine. It takes ~10+ minutes on the days I want to pair the thermometer. This product is SUCH a waste of money.

I’ve been off birth control for a year now and using Oura plus NC along with learning the fertility awareness method. I feel so comfortable and confident with natural birth control because of this app! And I’m so glad to be participating in probably the largest data reporting for women’s cycles in history! How amazing. I recommend to all my friends! But make sure to learn HOW the fertility awareness works to fully make sure of the platform and avoid pregnancy! This is soooo important!

I love this app so much. It’s very accurate and insightful

I have struggled to really find something that works for me-a failed IUD led to a surprise pregnancy. I got the gift of motherhood out of it but it’s made me fearful of birth control and I’ve never really wanted anything that would alter my period, hormones, etc. so I’ve been looking for something that prevents pregnancy while also allowing my body to do what it was meant to do. Natural cycles allows me to both enjoy sex, without the added stress of pregnancy and to be able to be my best self.

I’ve been using natural cycles for 9 months now. It has worked very well and has thus far been very accurate.

My friends have been raving to me about this app and I was hesitant. I got off birth control that I have been on for 10+ years. I kept keeping track of my temperature for months before I finally got a period. I’m glad I did. It’s so nice to use this to track my symptoms and just overall how I am feeling. Also to get a somewhat better idea when I am fertile or about to start my period.

10/10 I love the pair of the Aura Ring with natural cycles. I have had years of battling with hormonal birth control in order at attempting to balance my hormones. I have done the Pill, gotten an IUD and both ended in me gaining 30lbs in about 3months and experiencing gnarly mood swings and brain fog. As I approached getting married I wanted to have a form of birth control that I could rely on and I couldn’t be happier. I feel like I have a better understanding of my hormones and my cycle and my husband even gets involved and has learned a lot from Nautrual Cyles! If you are someone looking for a healthier alternative to birth control or even family planning, I highly recommend
