I bought this app before it became a subscription. Good app, but lost my rights to the app purchase and now being asked to pay $50/yr

everything’s locked behind a paywall.

The editing interface of this app is fantastic, however it does not work with Dropbox as claimed. A paid Dropbox plan allows you to store up to 3TB of files. If your Dropbox folder uses anywhere close to that, then PDF Expert will be unable to browse or even open a single file from your Dropbox (it just hangs). I learned this the hard way. After 16 back and forths with customer service; their ultimate response: “I'm afraid there is little we can help you with at the moment.” Unfortunately this makes the app useless for me.

This app works really well and is versatile for all my pdf creations. It would have gotten 5 star except for when you create the pdf file it places it within its own file location and when you copy or move that pdf to another location it doesn’t maintain the markups. You have to email to yourself then save as in a common folder for it to retain all info.

I have been using this for over 10 years. It is plagued with numerous problems and support is non existent. They have NEVER been able to solve one of my problems. Latest issue, my PDF Expert wont send emails. It is not an Apple problem, it is inherent to the PDF Expert app. Also the app has a bug that prevents you from using the toggle buttons to perform certain actions. I have complained about this to support, they dont seem to care. Buy at your own risk.

pdfexpert was my go-to pdf editor across all icloud for years, but in the last year and a half it has become a buggy mess and cost me more time and hassle than it has saved me. wish this still worked because the core features cant be beat.

I had this app for years! Loved it. Purchase it once. Now it has kicked me to the curb and now requires a yearly fee. Super lame!

Please bring back $2 a month trial offer, $50 is too expensive

One of the best apps

This is the best PDF app on iOS. Very fluent and smooth. Support your legacy users by providing customized toolbar. Also add custom icons (please don’t hide them behind subscription) in all colors, black and white for dark mode. Stop pushing subscriptions to legacy users. Also remove that ugly AI icon, or make it consistent with other icons which are just lines with no square blue background.
