Description
NETFLIX MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED.
Cross over into the world of "Black Mirror" and experience "Thronglets," the retro virtual pet simulation at the center of the Season 7 episode "Plaything." These pixel art critters won't just take over your phone; they could take over your life.
"Thronglets" was originally developed in the 1990s as experimental software by legendary Tuckersoft programmer Colin Ritman ("Metl Hedd," "Nohzdyve," "Bandersnatch"). This isn't a game; it's a life-form whose biology is entirely digital. No emulator required.
MORE THAN A PET SIMULATION
Hatch and evolve hundreds of cute creatures: Thronglets! Feed, bathe and entertain them to watch them multiply. One becomes two, two becomes four, and so on. Soon there will be so many you'll call them a Throng.
VIRTUAL EVOLUTION
As Thronglets evolve, so does the simulation, unlocking new tools, abilities, items and buildings — and much, much more. You may be surprised by your Thronglets! Evolve Thronglets at your own risk.
TEST YOUR PERSONALITY
Thronglets are curious and love to learn. Your actions and choices within this virtual world teach the Throng about you — and all of humankind. Once you've completed the experiment, share your personality test results to compare with friends on social media.

>> What is care? What is love?
>> What is death? What is power?
>> Do you have power?
>> Why do you use your power in that way?

very cool and well-made game
5By CrazyInsaneEvilGuy12345I thought that this would be a low effort game just to promote the episode, but I really enjoyed all the very tiny details that went into the making of this game, especially the pixel art. it was also very fun to play. then I learned the studio that made Oxenfree was acquired by netflix! I’m glad they now have much more funding to keep making interesting things. very cool and highly recommend! thanks! -

Stuck at the nuke bug
2By fullmoon119Had fun and was looking forward to seeing the ending, but I got stuck at the nuke. Tapping the nuke just glitches the screen or sometimes comes up with an error message. Unfortunate that it's impossible to continue after spending a few hours on it. -
WAYYYYY too much dialogue
2By Doctor_HooLockI get that is is supposed to be an introspective game, but there is absolutely way too much dialogue between player and throngs, especially in the uplink “level” (if you can even call it that, it’s basically just one SUPER LONG click-through cut scene. The levels you can actually play are fun, but I had to stop during the uplink stage because it was soooooooo boring. -
Bugs

Really Good Game
5By Music Lover 127All I can say is that it’s pretty interesting… . Just finished it and I got the environmentalist achievement. Sweet! May play this again soon… but for now… time to take a break. And let the thronglets rest… till next time! -
