  • Good, but I'm disappointed with the offerwall

    Overall, I adore this app and it has a ton of nostalgia for me, since I used to use it a lot when I was a kid (Honestly I had no business reading half the stuff I did). However a few years ago I uninstalled it because I didn't read on it as often and my phone didn't have a lot of space. Now, I recently switched to Iphone and decided to redownload the app and for the most part, everything is good. Except the offerwall. I don't know if it's because I've been gone for a few years, or because I switched from Android to Apple, but instead of games and apps to try out like there used to be, they're replaced them with scammy products that cost actual money? The whole point of the offerwall was for people who didn't want to spend money to have a way to earn ink fairly quickly, and it's honestly sad that it was changed. Anyway, other than that it's a great app and the most webtoons/stories on it are pretty good and I still enjoy the overall experience.

    I really enjoy this app and love the comics that I can find on here. Very user friendly and easy to navigate. The only issue I have is with buying ink. More times then not I will occasionally get the 10 dollar ink offer and then be charged like 40 dollars. Doesn’t happen all the time but it did this morning. I did verify all other subscriptions or payments before I came to this conclusion but I did get overcharged from this app this morning. Overall good app but should maybe look into this.

    The all and comics are amazing my only issue is that all my free ink isn’t going through I’ve lost about 1,000 ink on it so just a heads up

  • Ink Missing, No reasonable support

    Tapas has had a glitch for a while now where ink (their currency) from ad offers says it is rewarded, but never shows up. I spent so much time submitting proof of what they required, only to have a tech support guy close out my case when I asked him to clarify something he'd asked for. I've never ever actually gotten help. This issue happens regularly. I just now tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, which was a huge mistake. It cleared out all my old support tickets, so I've completely lost my ability to get back any of the ink I was supposed to. Anyhow it's a glitchy paywall system, and their support tickets are an endless loop of them asking for verification, you provide it, they ask for it again and again, and then just eventually close out your ticket without helping. Even when you repeatedly provide everything they ask for. Use at your own risk.

    I downloaded this app a month ago just to read solo leveling and it has shown up with a network error every single time I open the app except for today, at which point I got to read a single episode and then I was faced with another network error. They’re IT apartment must be a joke, this is absolutely terrible and exactly why webtoons is so much more popular

  • Free ink is bugged and support isn’t responsive

    I used to really like tapas, but then they got rid of watching videos for free ink which made it much more annoying. On top of that the offer wall has been bugged for me for months. I haven’t received any of the ink marked as rewarded and whenever I try and contact support I get no response. I want to support the authors I like on here but it’s difficult when tapas won’t even fix its app

  • Amazing stories but costly

    Most of the best manhwas available here and they obtain many new ones that advertised on youtube. Better than going to a website with ads. Can be pricey for an avid reader or free for those who can wait. Wish they would level up their merch store to include plushies of favorite characters like Shelina and Luatisha.

    Tapas is like the best I can read some books where I can’t find them anywhere else and not have to mention if you Can’t buy ink every Monday you get free ink and you can watch a add to get a free episode. Tapas is probably the best app I have ever downloaded.
