  • Kinda buggy

    Overall the app itself was fine, it would be buggy at times and it was surprisingly expensive compared to some other apps I’ve tried.

    Overall this has been a solid app. I use it in addition to audible because I like to have way too many books on rotation at any given time. I enjoy the perk of the VIP selection every month, as I can always find something of interest among these options that I would otherwise likely not have encountered. The cons of this app are that it does not carry all authors/books out there (though has most), and as others have noted..that titles are organized by tracks instead of chapters. The latter is an extremely frustrating quality, as it makes it very difficult to have a sense of how far into a book you are. There seem to be some decent deals available at any given time but I admittedly don't take advantage because I'm almost always only downloading books that I am specifically seeking out ahead of going to the app.

    It says free but if you want to listen to any books then you have to sign up and you have to pay per month to sign up this was just going to be a back up app in case the one I have doesn’t have a book but know I can’t use it.

  • Good service, balky app

    I like the selection of books but the app is balky and unpredictable, often shutting or stalling out for unknown reasons. At other times, it wont boot up and play a book that i have downloadedcand was playing. I hate to say it but these things dont happen with the audible app.

    I have paid monthly for a subscription and haven’t utilized it compared to the money I’m spending, so I’m cancelling the monthly payment. They DELETE every purchase I’ve paid for. How odd. Can you imagine a bookstore taking back your books because you’re not on their mailing list anymore? I definitely don’t recommend using them.

    I tried to contact the company to cancel my subscription, but received no response. Do not download this app, because you will not be able to cancel it without canceling your card, or closing your account.

  • App is mediocre at best, but their support is trash

    Absolutely horrible. To start, when I signup up it was because I was searching for a book and they said they had it. Of course, once I signed up, it was not available. I had constant issues with the sound. Books would skip, or repeat or start double talking constantly. I would try to restart the book, exit the app and check to make sure there wasn’t an update and sometimes would have to uninstall and reinstall. When I reached out to their support it was a constant barrage of macros and pre defined content. Not actually listening or reading anything I said. Then would I would point this out, they would just start repeating their pre defined content and then telling me goodbye. When I asked for a refund, they told me to cancel (which could only be done on the site) and then they’d refund me. Gues what?! They didn’t! And then when I asked to speak to a manager, none was ever available and I should just email him. Expect, the only email they’d give was the regular help email that they monitored! So they would respond to me from that email. The app isn’t very good, and the support staff is horrid. There are better apps with better books.

    Lathe o my reason this app is still up and running(for now) is because they steal the money straight from your account and when you AND the app I signed up through even told me I was RIGHt! I have proof, the app that’s much bigger than yours, has the proof but you still won’t give me my money back! 90 day free trial means you will for sure be paying because they charge your account one month i to your 3 month trial!
