  • Mileage/Pace always off

I use Strava as a one stop shop to keep a history of all my runs and bikes. However it consistently overstates the mileage and pace of all my runs. I can run both Nike Run Club and Strava on my phone at the same time, and Strava will consistently overstate the stats. It’s the same if I run with someone else and compare stats. It also overstates when comparing to my Apple Watch or Garmin. Bottom line - why would you pay for premium if the app can’t give you accurate stats.
  • Lost time and workouts

I will run on the treadmill and the Strava app on my watch will disappear losing time from my run. I switched to the native apple app but it often doesn’t sync those workouts making your overall analytics incorrect.
  • Got rid of the manual activity button and their ai chatbot is useless

With the new update on the Strava app it’s taken away the option to add activity manually by adding access to your profile from where the plus sign used to be. So I asked the chatbot if there’s another way to add activity manually and it responded saying to use the plus sign to add manual activity. Which again, there is no plus sign. Also have no idea how else to reach out to Strava so came here. Fix your app and updated your website with the updates you put onto the app.
  • Terrible update :(

Harder/ impossible to manually add workout data! Very limited options for free users. Premium is constantly forced down our throats. I’m incredibly disappointed. Not everyone cares about team functions etc, just let us log our basic workouts!!

The only thing I used on fatmap before being decommissioned was the 3D map of ski areas now with the old app gone this app isn’t useful

Refuses to accept that I have Motion and Fitness enabled. Followed the troubleshooting on the webpage to no avail. Even attempted restarting my iPhone, and reinstalling the app. Nothing worked.

Useless for what i would use it for. As a mountain guide and endurance athlete I’m disgusted. I have no interest in $80 of worthless Strava just to get FATMAP info. Never again. Buyer beware.

I’m extremely disappointed with this app. It blatantly takes advantage of its customers by withholding basic information that most other apps in the same category provide for free. Instead, they push users toward paid features without transparency or value. It feels exploitative, especially when competitors are offering the same (if not better) services at no cost. If you’re considering this app, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere. The lack of transparency and focus on nickel-and-diming users makes it hard to trust this platform.
