Have loved the app for many years. It took a terrible turn there for a few weeks after a release that had many fundamental performance and stability issues. But now it’s back in the saddle again. Best podcast app for those with a ridiculous number of subscriptions such as myself.

The terrible lag and random stops seem to have been fixed with 7.63! Thank you!

It used to work great. Now it stops working every 5-10 minutes. It’s not crashing it just stops the podcast. Like the pause button was pressed. Then you have to go press the play button to restart. Rinse and repeat. It used to work great. Not now. Nice selection and layout just very poor recent functionality. 6 months ago it was 5 stars.

I’ve never seen an app become so unstable so quickly than this app has in the last few updates!

I’ve loved this app for a long time but the volume adjustment from the watch app has been broken for quite a while. There were other issues that weee fixed but this got missed. Please fix! Update: Other apps work just fine but thanks for the response!

I started using this app in 2021 and loved it. I mostly use it to listen to my patreon feeds but lately episodes have been taking a minimum of two hours to show up in my feed after they’re posted. Apple Podcasts is free and is able to pull my Patreon feeds immediately so I no longer see the point of paying $40/year for this.
  • Works great and easy to find or add new pods

Been using this app for 6 years or better, started on android and now I’ve been on iOS for almost a year. Works the same on both platforms. Easy to find new podcasts to listen to, very nice UI, can add podcasts by rss feed url too. The watch app is functional, but I mostly use for my play/pause. Sign in with an account to sync across devices but no requirement to do so.
  • Lost volume control on Apple Watch

Pros: when it’s working properly, it’s just as good as Downcast. Cons: lost volume control on the Apple Watch. I value this feature and the ability to use the watch, stem to control the volume. This worked once, and then stopped working. The app is also buggy, it freezes, and the user interface is not as good as Downcast because it has a button for phone or watch on the watch, this makes no sense to me. I paid $20 for this app and it’s not near as good as Downcast, which is free.
