Distance filtering doesn’t work I get tons of likes from Indian scammers

I as a mixed race Asian was hoping for a good app to meet and date other Asians. Based on the distance of users and the reply rate (almost zero in one month if you count the scammer accounts). In theory this app would be great if it connected people close by.

I’ve been on the app since it’s release and honestly I still haven’t figured out many of the small nuances. There’s a bunch of problems with the app itself, but I can see the vision for it. One thing that has to be fixed is the age and distance options. Even though the age and distance can be set, you’ll still find people that are 1000+ miles out and find people who’re older than what you set. Another small thing that’s irked me is how the app itself was advertised for Asian people to meet and be friends, date and whatever else, but there’s a good 50% of the users on the app who are straight up not Asian and they’ll have that in their bio. Obviously that can’t be fixed, but that’s just a fair warning for those who think there’s only Asians on this app. Another gripe I have with the app is the liking system. Unlike other apps like this, you won’t be given an option to see who has liked you. You’ll find out if they like you if you’re given the chance to chat with them. Only if both people like each other will a chat room open for them. If you’re the type of person to wait for others to like them and check those, you’ll be waiting until your hair turns gray.

I did everything the when it came to the putting your birthday part I can’t even put my year in it won’t let me, I have deleted it before and reinstalled it and I’m still having problems

my only problems distance filter is useless 80% of the app is non asians which defeats the whole purpose

I feel like this app meant for a Asian people and saw a lot of non-asians

So like the users are 60% Asians and 40% not aka weirdos who fetishizes Asians…

The app itself is not bad but there's some serious bugs like the distance filtering that just does not work.

This app is absolutely a waste of time. Doesn’t matter if you set your distance to anything. All the swipes will be 2500 miles away. What’s the point of matching with people you’ll never meet up with. Do not download this app. Absolute garbage

I put in my phone number to receive a code in order to create an account, and I never received a code. I’ve made several attempts but the result is just the same👎🏽
