Procreate dreams is a very good animation app. But it’s missing the draw select tool from procreate. Procreate please have an update to bring that feature back.

Unfortunately, I agree. I expected more (no selection lasso) is a heavy black eye on the face of Procreate Dreams. On YouTube the channel: Inspiration Tuts 2D has a video called: 👉Procreate Dreams vs. Toonsquid | Which One Is Better If You Read The comments… overwhelmingly the public declares Toonsquid the superior product. I was rooting for procreate dreams due to their excellent pedigree with procreate, but, this needs more work.

The undo option STILL undoes multiple steps in one tap. Dynamic brush scaling is STILL broken. There is still no lasso tool. I appreciate procreate letting people buy a full software without subscription but man this is such a misstep. I hate the fact we’ve accepted this business model of being promised a finished product only to find out it’s unfinished *after* buying and having to wait on the developers to finish it. Half a year ago I paid $20 dollars for something I STILL can’t use. It’s so frustrating.

Needs Freeform select tool to only adjust pieces of the drawing.

An art app without a lasso tool? Really? And there doesn’t seem to be any copy and pasting function. This app is honestly maddening to use compared to procreate. After being out for so long now, I had expected better…

Remarkably horrible. Cannot withstand jack. Cannot make one single stroke on a brand new tablet with full storage available with an apple pencil without unbelievable amounts of lag. Have tried every tutorial. No lasso tool or brush properties is unbelievable. $20 is out of this world. Even if this software were free it’d be trash, but unfortunately I committed so I’ll have to suffer through.

yeah, that's pretty much it. it works, but it really is a bit confusing and with an hour of work you've only just learned that it's not only a flip book style app 🤷 edit: you also can't change the settings to your brushes, but i understand that might make the app crash. just needs work :)

It would take no longer than a day to implement a select tool, which is needed MASSIVELY and the devs are getting angry every keeps asking for it when they PAID FOR IT.

The absence of lasso tool is just such a big deal breaker for me. How is it possible that this app lacks such a powerful feature of it predecessor app.
