This would be a great app to use to learn to play the ukulele if you didn’t have to pay to unlock most of the items in here. I can’t even learn a cord in this app because you have to pay for them.I think if at least 3/5 things in each set was free or something new was free every week it would make this app better. This is a great app just you have to pay for it.

Do not download this app you can’t play any song with out premium. When I downloaded it I was so happy to learn more about ukulele and play songs but when I figured out that I couldn’t play a song I was crying for about 30min and I just wanted to tell you so they wouldn’t break your heart like they did to me. PS. Kid who loves to play ukulele

This review is strictly for the customer service- nothing to do with the actual app. When I was looking through many of these critical reviews about the app, nearly all of the reviews have developer responses on them. I, too, gave a review about my experience with this app, to which it was responded to. You had me go to a website where I left more of my concerns, and you emailed me back from there. I really appreciate your willingness to help your customers and make us feel important. Despite this, I still think it is too expensive for something I only want to take up as a hobby. Anyways, the app seems good despite the prices. Unfortunately I will not be paying the subscription.

Me personally, I like this app because it helped me tune my cords in within five minutes and it’s really easy to learn. I mostly know because I was taught in school but either way you should try ukulele it’s really really fun instrument you can play.

I would like to use this software program to learn how to play the ukulele, but when doing the lessons, the microphone on my iPad has difficulty picking up the sound from the strings when I play them and registering them on your software program. Is there any way to fix this? Thank You.

It couldn’t even process the sound of my ukulele every time I played a note, it just didn’t listen, and I even shut my door and got rid of all the noise and it still didn’t hear me.

Great for repetition. Terrible for timing or strum patterns. Everything is chaos. It would be greatly helped by offering patterns D-U-D for instance. They just flip it out with no rhyme or reason. Also, the down and up arrows are very hard to see to so your disadvantaged there also. It would also be nice to have feedback why you got a "red" note. Timing? Tone? Tune? Could be a great app with a few tweaks. Also what I loved in early levels (slow build up and chord challenges) disappears on later ones.
  • Good but could be better.

I am a beginner, and it’s great with all the things you can learn, but after you learn like some notes like the second lesson or first. But there’s something that bothers me. After you finish that lesson, you have to buy premium to learn the strumming I’m pretty sure which I don’t think should be right. I think there should be like a couple more lessons that are free even if it means watching an ad to do it but overall it’s still pretty good, but that’s something that they can change.
