Description

Swipewipe is the app that will (finally) help you clean up your camera roll. And you’ll enjoy reminiscing while you do it. We'll save you the time: Yes, there are other apps that can help you quickly delete photos on your phone. But none of them worked for us! We wanted a simple, fun, elegant solution that let us go month-by-month, work our way through all our photos, videos, screenshots, and everything else in our camera roll, and decide - one by one - what to keep and what to get rid of. That’s Swipewipe. Here’s how it works: swipe right to keep a photo, and left to delete it. If you make a mistake or change your mind, just tap the current photo to go back. Hold down on a picture to see its metadata. After you’re done reviewing that month’s photos, take one last look at the photos you chose to keep and the ones you chose to delete, make any tweaks you need to, and then…you’re done! Each time you finish a month, it'll be crossed out. (You can always revisit that month, though.) If you get part way through a month and want to take a break, you can quit the app - a progress wheel will appear next to that month on the main screen, showing you how much further you have to go. If you’d rather not go month by month (or even if you do!) we think you’ll like our new On This Day feature. It sticks to the top of your Swipewipe home screen, and each day, it updates with the photos that you took on this date one year ago, two years ago, and so on. Revisit your memories on their anniversary, and swipe through to determine what you’d like to keep and what you’d like to delete. (It’s pretty fun.) We also have: - Bookmarks (for any pictures you want to set aside) - A widget (and streaks!) for On This Day - Stats that show you how many photos you’ve reviewed, how much memory you’ve saved, and more …and we’re always adding cool new stuff! Our camera rolls shouldn't be such a mess. You should be able to look back at the memories you've made without getting interrupted by blurry duplicates, irrelevant screenshots, and other clutter that keeps you from the good stuff. That’s why we’re making Swipewipe. Hope you like it, and happy swiping! (Oh, and if you have any feedback, ideas, complaints, life advice, or anything else — email us at hey@swipewipe.app!) The new feed option is more work in my eyes. Please bring back the swipe option, it was my favorite and easiest way to get rid of photos.

No way I’m paying $7 a week when I can just go through my camera roll and select photos and then click delete.

Uhhhhh they got rid of the swipe to delete/keep feature for part of the app… do I get part of my subscription back? Edit: can you give us the option to choose feed vs swipe? The app is called swipe wipe and now 50% of the app doesn’t have the feature advertised in the name.

i never review apps so you know i'm about to break it down. i went from almost 5k photos and videos to 1,400, and i'm not even done going through them yet, i still have 6 more months to go through. for starters: it's more than simple to go through and do it at your pace. you swipe and delete! it's as easy as that! having them dated by months is my favorite part. not only do i get to look back at dumb pictures i took, but i also get to delete them. don't let the price sway you from using. it's a smaller company so keeping them afloat by doing a purchase is helping them greatly. so what if it's .99? it's worth it. you can go through all of them in one day or break it up between multiple days. the app will never hound you to get back on it, and i prefer it that way. overall, a very smart app, and a good buy. thank you! i forgot to mention that the support team is very quick with responses and friendly! thank you guys!
  • PLEASE fix the ad system

By its kinda okay but yees
love this app SO MUCH but very very annoying that your “watch an add to unlock 20 photos” doesn’t even unlock 20 photos after like 3 uses max, if it only has a limited amount of unlocks please put that somewhere on your app. I'm also not paying 5-80 dollars just to delete some photos?? i understand 100% that this is how you guys make money and support your app but literally it’s just deleting photos. be for real for a minute guys LMAOO

I never write reviews and I was honestly expecting this app to be begging for money like other storage cleaners, but its actually a good app. Theres a choice to subscribe for better features, but its not an obligation and it dosent entirely ruin the apps purpose, you have a limited amount of swipes but they recharge with a timer. It makes clearing my camera roll less of a chore, more fun, and more effective. I feel like when im cleaning my photos myself, i skim over a lot and still have a ton of useless junk.
  • new update is unfortunate

i thought that the “on this day” feature being a feed instead of swiping was a bug. genuinely surprised to see it’s a legitimate change on the devs end. it defeats the purpose of the app’s name. there should be other ways to effectively monetize their app, this pushes out their user base.
