Storygraph is one of the best apps but there isn’t enough social media aspect to pull my friends away from goodreads. You need to be able to see what friends/followers are reading, be able to leave recommendations for friends/follows, share and compare basic data between friends that can scale into a paid plan (but some needs to be free to bring the readers to the yard), and friend/follower giveaways and read-alongs.

PLEASE make there be a way to mark reviews as containing spoilers, and report reviews that have spoilers in them. I got this app 2 weeks ago and I’ve already had 2 books ruined by huge spoilers in reviews. Other than that it’s a lot of fun, but I’m nervous to read reviews now.

I absolutely adore this app. It’s one of my favorite ways to track reading, and I’ve been using it consistently for over two years, but i’m always logged out, and it’s gotten to the point where I’m thinking about switching to a new app because I am constantly annoyed. I have the password saved, but it takes a good 2 to 3 minutes every time I want to update how long I’ve been reading a book, and I genuinely don’t care enough to keep doing it. I also use Goodreads, but I only track my rereads on here, and I love being able to look at all of my stats and stuff, but I’ve almost completely stopped opening this app knowing I’ll have to login again. It’s especially annoying when it open the first time, and it works completely fine, but when I open it five minutes later to update something else I’m logged out again. I’ll probably keep dealing with it until the end of the year, but I’m definitely going to be looking for alternatives for 2025 if the problem continues.

App has worked so well until yesterday/today whe. I couldn’t mark books as read. They’re just stuck.

Easy to use, easy to modify book attributes and add new additions (such as covers and page numbers) as compared to competitors. Really in depth analysis of reading habits and patterns.

When I try to open it all I see is a blank white screen.

This is a great app! The only thing I would change is to make it easier to say you are rereading a book. And that also your rereads will show up in your currently read bar.

It’s a cool concept and I got excited when I could export my Goodreads information… but that’s where it got muddy. It didn’t import myself stuff correctly. It imported some of my books as Dutch language or non print books. The whole reason I wanted to check the app out was for the cool graphics and they’re not correct. I don’t feel like adjusting everything myself so I decided just to stick with Goodreads (they’re free) I understand that’s how you make your money to further develop but it’s honestly so annoying this day and age. I want to be able to enjoy stuff without having to pay for it to work better..
