I love the content on Wondery. I even pay for wondery+ but this app drives me insane. The app will close randomly in the middle of listening and if you try to open anything else on your phone while listening, the shows randomly stop - sometimes the entire app just closes at random. It’s frustrating enough that while I love the content, I doubt I will renew. What’s the point of paying when it’s so difficult to listen?

I love the shows but the app just doesn't work. I paid for a subscription but every time I try to listen it tries to sell me again, but then says I have a subscription- there's no way around it and I can't listen to anything.

Wondery really tried to make their own platform & make money by pulling their products from other streaming sites. Wouldn’t be an issue if the site wasn’t terrible, many functions & buttons simply don’t work. It’s such a joke I literally can’t buy Wondery plus cuz the ONLY buttons to buy it don’t work😂 what a complete joke

Ended up canceling my subscription because new episodes now have to be “downloaded.” I had my auto-download on so that I would not miss new episodes, but Wondery would not auto download the episodes. I also had problems with new episodes just randomly disappearing after listening half way through. The frustration is not worth the money.

The app doesn’t work offline. What’s the point in downloading if I can’t access the content offline?

App unusable on iPhone 15 pro. Latest OS. Latest update. Playback stops when running in background. No solution. Garbage developer.

I’ve been a subscriber for almost 2 years. I love it but recently it’s had a lot of issues with playing episodes through. The app keeps crashing 5 minutes into an episode.

For the past month or so, the app crashes constantly. This problem has gotten substantially worse over the past week whereas I can’t listen for more than a minute or two without the app completely shutting down. Nothing works to fix the problem. Severely regretting not cancelling before my Wondery+ subscription was just renewed.

I'm a Wondery plus member but haven't been able to enjoy listening for months. The app crashes repeatedly only several seconds into a podcast. Happens across the entire platform. Have updated, deleted and reinstalled to no avail. Life is too short to be this frustrated over an app!

I try to listen to downloaded content while on a plane but first, it won’t load. Frustrating. Then when it does finally load, it crashes over and over again. I’ve deleted and reloaded it several times to get it to work. I am a premium member but I’m wondering if it’s worth it anymore.
