  • Mobile Game?!

This game doesn’t even feel like a mobile game! It feels like I should be paying at least triple for it. An outstanding game.
  • Fantastic Game

Easily one the best games on the App Store, paired with an iPad Pro and a Controller makes it even better. The amount of weapons and outcomes that are possible makes it feel like I’m playing a different game each time, I will say I wish there was a report a bug option in game because I am constantly bombarded with the same achievement unlocked when I’m in a play through and their are hitches even capped on 60FPS (The M1 iPad). Give this game a try, you will not be disappointed and to top it off the DLC is actually reasonable priced.
  • Worth it

  • Amazing

My only current question is when the breaking barriers update is coming to iOS. I kinda fell off from playing because I got stuck after finishing one run and I think that update would help.
  • Play outstanding on iPad Pro with ps4 controller

With iPad Pro and ps4 controller , its better than the switch version. So great to play this on a big screen
  • Good but it gets way too difficult

The game shines with all of its different weapons/abilities and the randomly generated maps helps keep it fresh. But after you die the 250th time it does start to get old. My last run I happened to get some fantastic weapons and felt pretty unstoppable. I ran through the clock tower enemies like they were butter and my lightning was a hot knife. But the enemies in the very next level made me feel like I had no idea what I was doing. I very quickly ran through my 3 healths and was dead. I just think this game could be a lot more fun if the enemies didn’t do soo much damage. Even a fairly experienced player can very easily die on the 1st level if you end up between a zombie and a shield guy. I just don’t want to have to totally master a game to even get close to beating it.

Dead Cells is not only one of my favorite mobile games, but probably one of my favorite video games ever. It combines the side scrolling dungeon crawling of a Castlevania or Metroid with the customization and progression possibilities of an RPG. It’s particularly great for us old school gamers who grew up on 8 and 16 bit systems. The few bucks this costs you will no-doubt entertain you for countless hours.

    Hands down
  • Awesome- but Apple TV bugs

Hi there- I love the game and I am definitely getting it on other platforms later on- it is a joy to play and gets the adrenalin running as you explore each level and new expanse. As you learn how to play the game- each level is difficult and makes exploring all the more rewarding the further you get. I love playing this on my Apple TV 4k (not the most recent 2021 one)- To any reader who wants a really fun game to play- this is the one to get. It’s one of those repeat - upgrade - play experiences that never gets old. Even my setbacks (mentioned bellow) do not make me love the game any less-it’s just annoying. and I would highly recommend you get this game- on one platform or another. And if you play casually- you may not even encounter my problem at all. Everything is great. however when the apple tv box gets hot audio stutters appear in the game- and talking to the cell collector becomes nearly impossible because the menu will not flash onto the screen (when all other upgrade menus will) with the exemption of when you collect a new blueprint. (Placing the Apple TV on something cool to cool it down does help- but doesn't neglect the fact that all other customization/upgrade/power-up menus work just fine). clearly it isn’t just the Apple TV overheating that’s causing the problem Just recently I made it all the way to to defeat the king’s boss/guardian (the first ending past the ramparts and king’s royal chamber)- upon quitting the game from the pause menu to tye title screen to watch a show and come back- all my save data was reset. All my unlocked weapons- cells and permanent upgrades gone and I am very frustrated. I thoroughly love the game- but it becomes demoralizing to play on a platform where my save security isn’t assured. I could live with the cell collector broken until that point. I may take a break- and come back another time, hoping hope the devs consider fixing some of the eyesores that aren’t completely obvious after a player buys the game. I’m not asking for fancy dlc or update support- just humble bug fixes . Thank you for your time to read and consideration. -a fellow gamer and fan
