  • I’m so angry

I have been a faithful user of Paprika since 2015. Today I was using the app and it cut off in the middle of using it. I could no longer get it to open. I reset my device and everything. We googled the issue and it stated that the app is no longer supported. I had to pay for it again. That frustrated me, but I went ahead and paid again. I signed in and noticed that some of my recipes are gone. I lost recipes that I will never be able to get back. I am so angry right now. The new app doesn’t work as well as the old one. Importing recipes is harder than before.

Fav purchase of 2025. I love this app - it’s so easy to use, it’s so intuitive (no glitches uncovered so far) I can easily cut and paste my own recipe collection and to have ALL my recipes IN ONE PLACE? PRICELESS! Already made 3 other people buy it.
  • Excellent App

I’ve used this app for years at this point. The feature I love most is being able to paste a link to a recipe’s website, and then the app will convert it into a text based recipe that is then stored. It’s so practical. Also, being able to adjust the recipe automatically to increase the size by 2x, 3x or decrease to half is so helpful. I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed an app, but I love this one so much and use it almost every day for cooking.

I had to buy the app again after using it on an android device. I had to get it again on my new Apple phone so I would not lose all our family recipes. I cannot recommend this app enough if you are dedicated to cooking and eating at home as a family.

  • Used to be great

I’ve had this app for 6 years and use it multiple times per week. I have 8,500 recipes in Paprika. I had an issue at the end of 2024 and was corresponding with support. I just read another review that said it’s no longer supported. I’m angry, as I followed some of Paprika’s own instructions and now all of my former sub-categories are listed singly instead of under main categories. The entire app is a huge mess now, as the list of categories is long/unwieldy. This app has gone from great to terrible. Switching to an alternative hardly seems possible with so many recipes and the now/partial organization.
  • Best Recipe Keeper; needs a few tiny adjustments

Let me start by saying that Paprika is probably one of my most used apps. I’ve used it at least since 2015, and have gotten several friends and family members using it too. Why I love it: works offline. Helps you organize your recipes in a way that makes sense for you and your cooking. Downloads recipes from websites so you can make your adjustments (as many home cooks do. Allows you to create menus, link recipes to one another, make meal plans, grocery lists and so much more. It’s a buy once, own for life model, and I have more than got my money’s worth. If there were one improvement (this app has been the same since I originally purchased it, I have three suggestions. (1)I would add a more robust notes field. I would love to be able to add a date-stamped note each time I make a recipe, so I can see how I adjusted it over time. (2)It would also be great if instead of only tracking the last time you made a recipe (if you use the meal planning function), it tracked the number of times and captured all the dates you cooked it. (3) support for translating a recipe to Metric or swapping between Imperial and Metric measurements. That’s all! I love this app (so much that I bought both iPad and iPhone versions), and highly highly recommend it. 4 stars out of 5 just because of those small improvements.

I’ve been looking for a way to save, organize, search, etc my recipes for 15 years. Literally. This app does all of it so perfectly! This is honestly the most functional and well-designed app I’ve ever had the pleasure of using for any task. I love it so much. Best $5 I’ve ever spent!!
