  • Make a Linux app please!!!

    By Archidias
You already use your own backend in place of iCloud and you make a windows version, the next logical step is to make a Linux version (probably rpm and deb and perhaps flatpak). I know us Linux types are mostly into free open source software, but we also will pay for niche software for which we have no valid choices. Make it happen!!!
  • Recipes…Where Are You?

    By Sailorgirlpics
Loved this app; until I didn’t. I had created many categories and saved over 100 tagged recipes. Yesterday there were five. All that work, all the great recipes friends had shared, my favorites, and more have vanished. Frustrated. Upset that many I made regularly are gone. For example, Had tried 5 versions of limoncello cookies before finding a favorite. Now what? Ideas please.
  • Single issue with this app

I wish categories worked more like filterable tags instead of folders. For example, let’s say I have a category for vegetarian recipes, and a category for soups. I can search through each of these, but if I want to search through my recipes that are vegetarian soups (in both categories), there is no way to do that. I would have to pick one folder and then manually sort through it to satisfy the second condition. Or, I would need a sub-category in soups or vegetarian for vegetarian soups, but this quickly gets complicated for more than two categories, and would also mean vegetarian soups won’t show up in either the soup or vegetarian category (unless they are put into two separate “vegetarian soup” subcategories, which is confusing and redundant).

Reviewed a lot of apps and programs but this one is the best and only 4.99 with the ability to backup and use through all devices

I paid for the first app. Now I’ve paid a lot more for #3, but it won’t sync the 2 versions. 🤷‍♀️
  • Innovation is coming to a stop

We have used this app since version 1, I think. I’d love to see integration with macros tracking apps to pull macros and share recipes / grocery list.
  • Not worth my $5

The user experience was fine. Good enough. I didn’t use the app for a year due to a kitchen remodel. Updated the app and only 1 of my recipe remains. Where’d they go? And I don’t have them stored other places because that’s why I bought this app.
  • Not worth it

  • Soooo beyond worth it!!!

This app has every feature I want! I can create my own recipes or import from virtually any online source, then add them to my meal plan and it’ll track your panty inventory and groceries to make sure you’ve got what you need come prep time. I love it so much!! Literally life changing to for my ADHD self that would not be able to remember the meal plan much less what I didn’t have at home to make it when I get to the grocery without it. Also, I love that it synchs between my phone and iPad, since I tend to use my iPad for creating recipes and while cooking, but I can easily use my phone to check on my meal plan or grocery list.
