Used this for years from v1.0, and it always did great cleanups for me. And, developer provided constants updates according to new MacOS and xCode versions. Highly recommeded for xCode users.

Bought and ran this because I was cleaning up some Xcode messes, and Cleaner for Xcode found (_after_ I cleaned up) that Xcode had 120GB of cruft laying around. That's after I ran Bulldog *and* manually went in cleaning out caches and (I thought) deleting old simulators. Took me about 2 minutes in Cleaner for Xcode to clear out at least 40-60GB of space, plus learn what is safe to delete (and the xcrun command to delete old simulators). It's like having a consultant walk you through cleaning up your folder, but cheap. Thanks for a handy app.

I have an older MacBook Pro with limited hard drive space. This app is very helpful to remove my unneeded files easily. My only complaint is that the app says "Needs permission for folder..", but there is not any help on how to fix this.
  • Broken in MacOS Catalina

After upgrading to Catalina this app no longer works. It returns an error that it requires access to the Xcode developer directory, but doesn’t provide any information on how to provide that access.
  • Does not work after Xcode 11.1

It was working until recently when I updated the Xcode. I get 'The file “Developer” couldn’t be opened.' error on start.

Gone are the days when developers had multi-terabyte hard disks — now our companies buy us laptops with SSDs in them. They're fast, but small, and easy to fill up. Cleaner for Xcode to the rescue! I run it every couple-three weeks to see what unncessary stuff is filling up my disk, and remove it, easy as pie. If you are a developer, I recommend you install this app now for when you need it later.

Thanks for this app! Looks beautiful and works great! Quickly freed up a bunch of space and it's nice that you give suggestions on what's safe to delete. Thank you :D

I am constantly struggling to keep free hard drive space, and the main culprit on my machine is usually Xcode. Its a pain though to dig in deep and find all of the old symbols and simulators to delete. This app makes it extremely simple; I went from 4gb to 54gb just by deleting old data I had no idea was still on my machine. Recommending to all my iOS dev friends.
