Ever since squarespace took over this app, it’s been a complete mess. The user interface is so confusing, they’ve put almost everything behind a paywall, and the final straw for me was when they added watermarks to all the free templates I’ve been using for years and years. Deleting this app and I hope others do too!

Used this for years because I only used the most basic post format for tall photos that I needed to to make fit. Never used the fancy layouts and now they add a water mark to the most basic thing in the app and it’s $3 a month to remove it. Companies like this are the worst.

I’ve always been such a fan of this app, the design and ease of use. Then they just overloaded it with features and paid templates that no one wants. And now the subscription payment model makes the app unusable. I won’t use this app with watermarks on my images. Ruined a perfectly good app with corporate greed. What else is new.

Unfold used to be beautiful and simple. Now it’s just overwhelming, with overwhelming templates. I’ve purchased many templates before, but now they’ve added the watermark which you need to pay extra to remove. This is just getting greedy. I’ll most likely discontinue using Unfold and find an alternative. A few people I know are doing the same. Too bad.

I’ve been a fan of Unfold for years, the UI needed improvement but the ability to craft high end stories overrode that… until now. Squarespace has plenty of money and the latest update to unfold adds a foul watermark to the bottom unless you buy into their subscription. It went from full access, to paid for most and free for some to now having to pay to use the app as intended. Gross behavior from a company, do better.

Pretty bummed that Unfold has become greedy like everyone else. This used to be a great app, but the update to basically make you pay a monthly subscription just to use a simple picture frame is a joke. After all these years. Super lame.

I used this app maybe once a week just to dress up my Instagram stories a little. I loved the free templates and how easy it was to use them. So disappointed to discover they added a watermark that you now have to pay to remove. Maybe some people who use it more seriously will be willing to pay, but for the occasional user not looking to constantly pay subscriptions every time they turn around, it’s time to look elsewhere. The learning curve is a little steeper and the design less user friendly for mobile but I think I’ll be going back to Canva.

i used this app since it first came out. i understood when they needed to add paid services. i used it rarely since i'm not an influencer and i can see how they can benefit from some features. but i used simple templates and now they put every template as paid $3/month. no more free templates. if you don't pay you get an ugly logo on it. and i have a squarespace business account you think they'd offet it for free. anyways i deleted the app.

I used to use this app for Instagram stories and posts. Had no issues and loved it. Now I can’t even use a free template without paying to remove a giant watermark.

App was good until they updated. Now they add watermarks to templates I paid for years ago. Terrible for loyal customers.
