Description

◆ 65 MILLION USERS ◆ Yuka is a free mobile app that allows you to scan the barcodes of food and personal care products and instantly see their impact on your health. A rating and detailed information help you understand the analysis of each product. When a product has a negative impact on your health, Yuka also recommends similar but healthier alternative products. ◆ A 100% INDEPENDENT PROJECT ◆ Yuka is a 100% independent project : product reviews and recommendations of healthier alternatives are done in an objective way. No brand or manufacturer can influence them in one way or another. Furthermore, there is no in-app advertising. You can access detailed information on our business model on our website (www.yuka.io). ◆ 5 MILLION REFERENCED PRODUCTS ◆ Yuka established a database that contains 3 million food products and 2 million cosmetic products. Each food product is evaluated according to 3 objective criteria: nutritional quality, presence of additives and organic aspect of the product. The method to analyse cosmetic products is based on the analysis of all the ingredients of the product. this app is amazing. It's helped me to find carcinogens in my foods and personal care products. It's helped me to reduce toxins. And it's so fast. I love it! This is going to be a life changer!

I think this app is one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen not only is it fun to use and very versatile but as a larger concept is connecting the American consumer with nutrition facts they need to take care of themselves and their health, which is something the country is in dire need of. Instead of people having to do extensive research on every chemical in the back of products, this delightful app does all the heavy lifting, making it quick and easy to take care of your body and mind.

This is the first time I’am writing a review for an app as this requires one! It’s so shocking when you get to see what’s the score of your common groceries and snacks that you buy frequently. Has helped me big time. No words to describe how good is it.

Great app! I try to avoid ultra processed foods, but it’s difficult. This app brings an awareness and recommendations for substitutes. I have shared with family and friends. So easy to use. Highly recommend

This app has really been a lifesaver!!! Not only has it been helpful in informing me in all the harmful additives in the foods we often eat in the US but it also helps me scan for Soy as I shop for my mom who has an allergy and you would be surprised how many products have soybean in it!!
