Description

Use your Apple Watch to AUTOMATICALLY track your sleep! Sleep++ takes advantage of the motion and health monitoring capabilities of your Apple Watch to measure both the duration and quality of your sleep. The better you understand how well you are sleeping the more you are able to make changes in your routines to benefit your rest. My goal is to provide every Apple Watch owner with a free automatic sleep tracker that is simple and clear to understand. For each night you get a straightforward report of how long you slept and how restful you were during the night. AUTOMATIC MODE: Simply wear your Apple Watch overnight and each morning Sleep++ will analyze your sleep and give you a report about how long and restfully you slept. MANUAL MODE: If you want to have more precise control over the start/end time of each night recorded you can also use manual sleep tracking. This is also useful if your nightly routine makes it difficult for Sleep++ to determine when you went to bed. 1) Wear your Apple Watch while you sleep. 2) Tell Sleep++ when you start sleeping. 3) Tell Sleep++ when you wake up. NOTES: Sleep++ integrates with the Health App providing you a safe and private way to share your activity data with Sleep++. This data is used for automatic sleep tracking. You can also optionally have Sleep++ save your Sleep Analysis into your Health database after each night.

  • No analysis beyond health app dats

The data shown is available in the health app. The only analysis by the app is a readiness score, but no deeper analysis provided except giving a score. Sleep temperature not provided. Why look at this app instead of the health app? App needs to help you interpret the data.
  • Go to bed at the same time every day and it works

If you don’t go to bed at the same time every day or you don’t wake up at the same time every day; find another app

I like using Sleep++ to display daily Apple Watch data. Sleep Stages, Heart Rate, Respiratory Rate, and Blood Oxygen graphs are displayed on one screen. The “Trim Night” feature is very useful to remove false sleep data recorded while I am reading books. No subscription is required and a small one-time payment removes the advertisements.
  • Good when it works

I really enjoy using this app. But it does glitch out and not give you the sleep details. I hope they will do a fix.
  • Very Artistic

The app has become useless. It’s now very colorful and I have no idea how to navigate it. It was useful to have my nightly heart rate and restlessness graphed for me. That seems to be buried in silly colors with no useful data. I will be deleting this app. I would like to find a simple app that does what this one used to do.

I used to have four categories of sleep tracking and now there are three. REM sleep, Deep, Core and Awake. Now I have three: Restful, Restless, Awake. Why did this change and how do I change it back?
  • Worthless

Inacurrate. If you’ve ever had a fitbit you will be disappointed. I wore both Apple watch and Fitbit. And this app cannot discern when are awake or sleeping. Fitbit however was extremely accurate.
  • Good app, but 🤔

I generally don’t have any complaints with this app, except that for some strange reason, all of their date-based trends graphs run from right to left instead of left to right. So where you’d expect to be seeing the latest data on the right of a graph, and to scroll back to the left to see older data, It’s actually the opposite. It’s a bit confounding because their up front displays like the time of night and days of the week don’t run backwards, with earlier times or days on the left , but then when you open the app for further information on trends, everything reads backwards, with earlier days on the right 🤔
