    I have used this app since April and manually entered all of my transactions with the hope that when they hit in May it would auto track and I could just monitor and edit anything needed. That is not the case. It appears you will have to manually track every single transaction every single month. This is a disappointing discovery since even my basic bank app is able to keep track of purchases month to month after it is set.

    For me- the POINT of this app is track spending and work on budgeting and spending. This app wants you pay a premium subscription for basic tools like spending categories. It doesn’t make sense to spend money on “money-saving” apps. Useless
  • Screen frozen

    I just downloaded the app, I logged in. It will not move past the screen “here’s how we track and use your info”. There are no boxes to check and no way to continue forward. I have deleted the app and redownloaded several times with the same result. I would love to use the app, I just can’t get to that point.

    If I didn’t have to sign in with full email/password every time I open this app it would be great, but it just doesn’t do a good job of saving your info even for a few days. Makes it a hassle.

    I legitimately love how easy it is to use and how clear and simple everything looks. It’s a great budgeting app. I used to use Mint and I like this way better

    I recently created a premium account and absolutely loved the budgeting app. It was the best I’ve ever used. About a week ago I realized my transactions don’t come through anymore and EveryDollar does not support the credit union I use anymore. I now have a paid for account and can’t even utilize the premium feature because they don’t support my bank. Seems ridiculous to me that I have paid $70 for the year and in a month of using, they drop the ability to connect to my bank. Really hoping this gets fixed ASAP. It had been very difficult to get in contact with a support member.

    Positive comment first. I’ve been able to better manage my budget due to this app even though it has strange quirks and stupid UI/UX issues that the designers are aware of but refuse to fix because that’s not revenue generating work. They just leave them alone. Example: sinking funds. How is this actually supposed to work. There are poor documentation and when a sinking fund is created it can never be deleted or changed. Now for the negative: it just stopped connecting my bank even though I pay for premium. I’ve submitted multiple trouble tickets with absolutely no response. Switching to YNAB.
