    I had to cancel a reservation and Hopper went above and beyond in their communication and kindness. I’ve always had a great experience with Hopper and I will continue to use them!
  • No Customer Service

    I booked a hotel for a funeral and immediately after booking, realized I had the wrong date. Do I immediately tried to contact Hopper but they have no listed phone number. So I contacted the hotel directly. I explained what happened to the hotel customer service rep who tried to cancel my reservation but couldn’t because it was booked through a third party. But they gave me a number to call for Hopper. I called the given number and that was not a valid number. So I emailed support. Fast forward 8 WEEKS and I finally got a response. The response being that I was a no show at the hotel so they hotel won’t refund. WELL, 8 weeks ago the hotel granted me a cancellation but needed you to contact them. Now because it took 8 weeks for that to happen, they say they are closing my claim and can do NOTHING!?!! I’m still waiting to hear back on a resolution. 10/10 do not recommend anyone use their services.

    Sadly, I really liked the Hopper app and the services they offered. Having booked with hopper 5 or 6 times, I’ve generally had a seamless experience. Of course, until I actually needed support service from them. I purchased an international flight with all the extra Covid, and cancellation insurances. I didn’t plan on actually needing these, but bought them in case something went wrong with the global pandemic I needed to change my return flight from Japan because of some family issues- Hopper did NOT honor these services. Come to find, that hopper doesn’t actually offer support for these services, instead refers you to some 3rd party travel insurance plan to book a claim. It’s been 4 days since since filing this claim and nothing. I originally contacted Hopper one month before my trip concerning this issue. They shuffled me around to various “departments” and agents until my coverage lapsed. Never actually addressing the issues! Then I was gaslighted by my last agent Michelle C, saying that they explained everything to me- and it was my fault for misunderstanding. Frankly, I’m shocked by this profound lack of support. Also, there’s no phone support or chat support (chat function is broken). Agents speak in jumbled and confusing prescript messages and take no responsibility for customer tickets. Abysmal support- after spending over 400$ on additional support and insurance packages- I have absolutely nothing to show for it. Hopper should put less money into cute marketing schemes, and more importance on actually supporting customers. H-BYR3VD3BZR

    After trying to sign in several times. I kept clicking on verification link. Only gave me the option to “complete sign up”. Entered my info anyways. Says “email address already registered”. Guess I will be using a more iPhone friendly app for my deals as there is absolutely no way to sign in to my account. Sad face 😞

    I did the price freeze for 40$ with full intention of booking I just wanted to double check with my travel plans. A couple hours late to go to book and it’s says my flight has been taken and they will refund me. Except they never gave me a refund and when I tried to call there number and when I pressed 4 for refund they said that the phone costumer service wasn’t set up yet. THIS APP IS A SCAM DO BOT TRUST IT!!!!
