  • Star walk 2 good to have,

It has some issues like you want to see a space station well apparently they have no clue what this is since there are several on the link, then they show the planets going the opposite direction at times. But besides that it’s great, you can find a lot of objects in the sky, you have to be patient 😊

Love this app! It’s so informative on astronomy and fun to use to identify constellations, planets, stars and satellites. If you have a clear view of the night sky you will love using it.
  • Awesome app

I work at night, outside, so i get to use this app a lot. It’s informative and pretty accurate I’d recommend it
  • Don’t waste your time nor $

The review is based on a few nights’ use. App’s strength is detail about a narrow view of the sky, the single constellation over your head. If you want to ID other objects, then good luck. Not very intuitive, and the install fleeces you for an additional $2.99, a total of $6 for a useless app. is a better application, and free.

  • It is Perfect

Like it but What happened to tracking satellites and stations for free?
  • Notifications Are Too Late

    By Browncoat Cowboy
I went to the application on 29 June to see what to look for in the night sky. The application showed the latest activity was on 27 June. That doesn’t help me to know what I missed. I need to know about upcoming events so I can plan, prepare or even react. Knowing what I missed on 27 June is not helpful. There’s no point in that. I can understand if a notification is last minute when it can’t be helped, but in many cases, it can be helped.

  • Extremely Displeased with new App

Got the original Star Walk about 7 years ago and got many friends and family to get it as well. Haven’t used it in quite some time and when I opened the original app it wasn’t working very well, so I purchased the new version. I don’t know what has happened in the last few years, but the app is NOT intuitive. It used to immediately align with the skyline of my location when starting the app. I am using a 12.9 iPad Pro and have spent way too much time trying to just calibrate it to see my local night sky to no avail. This has too many additions and has lost its original ‘fun’ of being able to open app and begin to see what is above us. Sadly disappointed and will ask Apple to refund.
