  • Current Stargazing Conditions Inaccurate

I have used this app for many years now and like the widget on my watch. However, the current stargazing conditions have gone from being reasonably decent to very poor. For example, the current reading says 71% and good for stargazing. Actual conditions are heavy overcast with no chance of seeing the sun. The accuracy of this function really needs some attention.

This is a convenient way to find objects in the night sky. However, there are a couple of problems using it on an iPhone. 1) the labels for objects are very small, and if you are using night vision, they are very hard to read. This is actually the primary reason that I am looking for a different app and will no longer be able to use this one. I cannot find any accessibility accommodations at all. 2) when I am able to see the labels, a planet label is often omitted in favor of the label for a constellation. E.g, Mars is not shown on the star map because it is under the label for Gemini.
  • Large Widgets Have Been Broken For Nearly a Year

The large widgets for this app have been broken (don’t load any data) for the better part of 6 months now. UPDATE: although the devs responded and said this is a know bug and would be fixed, it’s been several more months and still hasn’t been addressed. As someone who paid for all the in-app upgrades, this is disappointing

I have most of your apps. StarWalk 2 is my favorite. I consult it daily. Your other apps are equally impressive. Your tech department is knowledgeable, fast, and courteous. I often post sky photos on my Twitter page. I make sure to give credit to StarWalk 2. I encourage others to start with StarWalk 2. I enjoy all of your apps thoroughly. Thank you! Sincerely, Samuel G. Sky Walk 2 is a great tool for any casual or hobby astronomer. My favorite feature is the AR function, allowing you to search for an object and then in augmented reality it points you to the exact location of the object. notifications are awesome as well and information about the planets and constellations is great.
  • Could be tweaked but amazing app
