    Used to play this on an older iPad but it doesn’t work on the new ones. They don’t seem interested in fixing it. Don’t get it.

    I saw many recent reviews about this game not working, but few device/iOS details. Decided to try myself. (iPad 9th gen) I was on iOS 16.6.1. Game fails. The title screen is halfway off; can’t even start a game. Upgraded to iOS 17.2. Same. (iPad Air) (gen 1) Max iOS is 12.5.7. Game works! I played thru “Easy” and “Moderate” and had fun. Worth the $3 USD. If the game doesn’t work for you, ask Apple for a refund! There is a Mac version, but it’s separate and costs more ($10). Didn’t try it. For the game, my main tip is to save! There is no undo. I had 3 saves I would rotate thru, and then the game was much more enjoyable to explore. There aren’t a lot of detailed online resources for this game, sadly. The in-game encyclopedia is helpful but lacks details. For example, lasers are long-range and cannons are short. But how far exactly? Both are probably longer than you think, especially if you’re used to playing “Military Madness.” 😁 Sid Meier, thanks for all your hard work!

    Any time I try to go to serrings or save the game, it freezes. Fun game, bad compatibility.

  • Great game, but fatal bugs with new OS or M chip

    Been playing this for years, very entertaining. But on my new M-chip iPad, and/or with latest iPadOS updates, some actions/screens get locked and you can’t click to get out (EG, trying to build a city on a planet, trying to learn more about adversary before a battle). Only way out is to force-close. Very disappointing if dev doesn’t patch it soon.

    I love this game and have been playing it for years. The one glitch that is incredibly frustrating, is when you try to sell a lot of items in order to have enough credits to buy, let’s say science. The game crashes in the middle of selling materials for credits.

    Used to be a favorite of mine, but now it freezes up in many of the sub-menus, making it unplayable on new iOS. Is it still be supported?

  • The game won’t run. I can’t use most button. When I send a fleet I get a nonstop animation.
