  • They will not fix bugs

They are greedy. Everything costs money, costs gems. They update the application, and introduce bugs. They took away the capability to report the bugs. I have screenshots where the game has crashed in the same place 3 days in a row. They introduce a new update yesterday. The bug still exists. If you like spending money, this is the game for you. If you don’t have money to burn, don’t waste your time. If you love a game that consistently crashes, this is the game for you. If you don’t like games that crash, and you can’t report the issues, then this is the game for you. Rovio has been bought by Sega. Neither company cares about the users.
  • The GREED continues

Sega continues to make changes that require you to spend more and more money. Do NOT download this game unless you want to spend at least $20 a week. It’s the only way to progress in the game. As a long time player, I’ve watched the greed unfold. And if you see a recent 5 star review from a long time player, it’s probably an employee of Sega. Just look at the recent negative reviews. You’ll see how actual players feel about the greedy changes.

The games updates always cause playing issues. This dramatically affects players that purchase daily gems, season pass, etc… if you play, don’t purchase anything. You won’t be able to access the rewards.

Once thoroughly enjoyable game of physics has recently dissolved into an angry user cash crab by new ownership group. New direction is causing many long time users to bail and who can blame them. Addendum 2024. Recent “update” bricked game on iOS and thus must remove yet another star.
  • Don’t update

This update is horrible - I am now locked out of the game right in the middle of a battle - there have been soooo many problems with their updates & fixes since they took over - if you can, would maybe wait a year until they get everything sorted out

This game started off really good. We are talking easy levels, and new mechanics that players love. I kid you not, the second SEGA took over was like a factory reset. Instead of actually caring for their players like the old Rovio did, Rose (which is what I will call the Rovio/SEGA hybrid) just wants this for the money. The first major change was the dreaded hat events. Sure the hats look cool yes, definitely. But there is a catch. There is always a catch. I want you to imagine what Rovio would do to make this fun. Maybe put them in the daily challenge? Ooh, or maybe make a mini adventure mode where all of the birds that can get the hats can’t use their powers! So cool, right? Now imagine what Rose would do. That’s right! They put it inside the Tower of Fortune and make it so that you have to complete the entire tower to get the last hat! Hooray! Of course I am being sarcastic, it’s a luck based event! Now let’s shift to the Arena, yeah? Everyone had a great time going against a worthy opponent and feeling that GLORY if they win! That, however, was the old days of Rovio. Rose uses bots and then flips a coin to decide if they win or lose. And you can most likely know who is a bot due to their name, example being Monty Flier, their profile picture which WILL be Red, and their absolutely bot like behavior. So let’s say you lose. Right? Pay 60 gems to replay the match! Okay, so you play your hardest there as well. Failure! Go back and pay 180 gems and THEN you COULD win. Shifting over to the game in general, PrincessTen’s review says absolutely everything. Physics don’t physic! A bird falls from two stories! There is wayyy too much tnt underneath! The bird falls! LITERALLY NOTHING HAPPENS! Only like 3 birds can blow up the tnt! Horrible! Sometimes the game is fun. For example, getting a sweet sweet chain reaction or barely making it through a level! Those moments are rare. Very Very VERY rare. Rose needs to get its stuff together because people are hating on this game. It’s simple. LISTEN TO YOUR PLAYER BASE! DONT BE ABSOLUTE SICK MONEY HUNGRY HOGS! Update: I now know that arena is filled with bots. Tonight I was playing arena when a “player” proceeded to get the luckiest scenarios to play out every room. This isn’t Mario Kart Tour, Rose! Secondly, they seemed to get 5 million points from firing the Blues (Jim,Jay, and Jake) at a room with three towers mainly made of wood and stone! For your information dear reader, the Blues are widely considered to be the WORST birds in the game, and he got 5 MILLION points from them. (The Blues are strong against ICE by the way.) The final nail in the coffin, however, was the score counter. Not the fact that the players’ count was higher, but the animation for him winning. In AB2, if you are winning an arena match, your profile picture jumps up and down, happily, and if you lose, it squishes down sadly. However, before his card even LEFT HIS INVENTORY, he had gotten the animation. This PROVES that this is staged, made for Rose to win. Not just the game, but your money and your materials and hard work. All gone. All because you tried to go against a once wonderful development studio and is now filled with greed by Rose, particularly SEGA. I mean, they ARE the ones that added a freaking SEASON PASS TO A KIDS GAME. They don’t deserve what they have right now. The only reason they are doing this well is because they bought their way to the top. Now, they can “make a quick buck” off a popular game and BAM! Two hits, two times as much income! But us players can see right through this as a corporate scheme to get the money of poor kids who want to be good at the game. In the end, they don’t win. Like they say in Vegas… The house ALWAYS wins. Also someone stole this entire review like bro if you want to talk about the game be original. Update 2: haha. HAHA OH MY GOD. They reached out to me with the MOST bot response I’ve ever seen! The devs are lucky this game hasn’t been taken down for GAMBLING!
