why does it need me to log in... i dont really care and i wouldnt if it would actually send me a verification email !! i tried my outlook, didn't work, i tried my gmail, didn't work. yes i checked junk mail i checked everywhere it didn't come. so annoying why do i need an account for everything

My wife and I use this app mainly as our grocery list. When we need something from thee store,we put it on the Simplenote list and when either of us go shopping, the list is updated.

Tried to import notes from Evernote and experienced numerous issues. Some notes just were imported as URL's; others were duplicated 4 times; and others failed to import at all.

This app has always worked flawlessly until very recently. Now It will not open, or if it does, there's some sort of memory loop because it hangs and beach-balls.

Simple, reliable, plain text note syncing between MacOS and iOS. Have used for years and it has never failed me. If you want simple plain text sync across all your devices, you can't do better than this.

This app does exactly what it advertises. It's called SIMPLEnote for a reason. It purposefully does not muck up workflow with a bunch of bells and whistles trying to be a multi use can opener that so many other apps fail at. If you want that look elsewhere. For me, SimpleNote is exactly what I wanted: Checklists, tagged notes, cross platform compatibility, streamlined interface, dark mode. It succeeds perfectly in the space it's positioned in. FIVE STARS!

Still good old reliable friend for years App crashes with keyword searches of old notes on the Mac version, not browser, but it's more glitchy on browsers, reported it many times to no avail.

App forcing you to create an account, and does not accept any password.

Been using Simplenote for years now, and it just feels to me to be the simplest note app with just enough extra features that don't make it feel cluttered at all. The one note app that I've been able to rely on that consistently pretty much seamlessly syncs between all my devices. I love the history feature if I accidentally delete some text I can get it right back. Customer service is also 5star, they are very responsive If I have an issue or suggestion.
