  • Would expect higher quality with this high cost product

Bugs appear all too often (latest is that a table cannot be successfully selected for edit, delete, et cetera), and capabilities do not seem to be enhanced version-to-version. After all this time, Query Builder is still toylike, lacking the ability to do anything but SELECT, lacking GROUP functions, and so on. In general, the QUERY builder only works for things one could manually type by hand in a shorter time. With a subscription fee, one would expect a product to keep growing. This one apparently is intended to displell that expectation.

There is no option to export query results.
  • Only Missing Exports and Imports Otherwise Excellent

This is by far the best app for working with mysql databases - especially when working with them over SSH connections secured by a key.... except you cannot import or export the data. Others have stated this on their reviews and I have to agree - there are free MySQL connectors that will do exports to CSV... it is so weird that this polished of an editor would be missing this feature. I own Navicat for the Desktop and love it.
  • Split Screen Update?

Love the app! Seamlessly handles pesky key changes when AWS servers get swapped out. Very useful for quick DB edits or references. Just wish I could do iOS split screen mode. I use this along with Navicat for PostGreSQL and would love to use both, side by side, like I do on the Mac.
  • My previous review was misinformed

Support got back to me and explained how to do all the things I couldn't figure out. This is a fine way to connect securely to and manage your databases and really the only viable alternative as of today for doing so with MySQL on your iPad.
  • MariaDB

Was useful until migration to MariaDB, though still possible, but annoying, to create duplicate connections as MySQL. Interface is rather cryptic. Plenty of room for improvement.
  • Best MySQL Client out there

Since slowly transitioning the majoroity of my development workflow to my iPad pro, I've been searching for a robust MySQL GUI and for now Navicat is the only worth while solution currently available. It's rock solid and supports everything you may need and then some. Running queries, sorting, editing, perfect. I feel compelled to write this review to urge Navicat to continue to support this product as I'd be in bad shape without it. Thank you Navicat and keep up the great work in the iOS version. PS: I use this with MariaDB and it works perfectly.
  • No export :(

One of the features I love about the desktop version of Navicat is the ability to export query results to CSV for reports. This is essential in my day-to-day, yet this feature is missing. I was surprised, too, since the cost of the app is so high compared with other MySQL apps that do have export features. Every other feature I wanted from Navicat iOS is there--including connecting via SSH tunnel, which works great. No other complaints. Just please please please add the export. If you add that, between this and CODA I can do most of my work mobile on an iPad Pro. Exporting CSV to email as an attachment as well as saving to an external service like Dropbox would be excellent.
  • Best MySQL client for iOS

This is by far the best client for iOS. I have tried the "MySQL" app and it is a bit buggy and slow. This one works way better and is fast. You can even sync connections between devices.
  • Decent app

I love the desktop based version of Navicat. The ui in the mobile platform needs a bit more love. Good to manage simple things on the fly.
