  • Disappointed with app lock

    Just as the Feb 6 reviewer noted the app is now ‘locked’ until one submits their personally identifiable information. I suspect some are not willing to do this to listen to past shows or recaps. I, for one, am not interested and can easily get the content elsewhere outside the app. To be clear, I’m not a DR hater and appreciate what he does and has done for me and my family. FPU, books, and Smart Money Conference (Willow Creek Church) made a difference in my family’s life. Ramsey Solutions knows who I am as a consumer of their services in the past. Building a customer list for marketing is their prerogative, but so is choosing not to be marketed to.

    The baby steps is the best plan on guiding your money to wealth and creating the most successful marriage by communicating and planning together. I only wish I had known about Dave Ramsey early in my marriage even though we are 33 years and growing. We did Dave mishmash for 25 years not knowing about him and then discovered his guidance and are creating even a better marriage.

    I have been listening to the Dave Ramsey app for a long time. When I turned it on yesterday I found it it had been redone and so I’m going to delete it from my phone. I do not want to give out information and I do not want to subscribe to anything. Sorry DaveI am not happy with your update.

    I started listening to Dave’s podcast in 2013. I’ve listened to literally thousands of episodes to stay on track and be encouraged to pay attention to our finances and get out of debt. Between a house and a car, we’ve payed off over $250,000 in debt following Dave’s advice. We followed the baby steps and began investing once the car was paid off and now have over a half million in retirement savings. A few months ago we became baby-step millionaires and next month we are writing a check to pay off the house. We’ve begun college savings for our kids and will have a healthy sum to help them in their higher educational endeavors. Recently our ELP asked me what I thought about retiring early… I hadn’t even considered it. We’ve been so nose down grinding out the baby steps, I hadn’t realized how effective the plan has been in preparing us for doing the things we want to do as opposed to things we have to do. Because we sacrificed early on when we didn’t make as much annually, we view our recent increases in income as a blessing that allows for more ability to live and give like no one else. Thanks Dave and the team for all you do to present a proven plan for wisdom around finances!

  • Content good but playback is frustrating

    No longer consistently picks up where you left off. I know have to scroll through months and months of shows (three per day) in order to get back to where I was. Very frustrating as I’m not going to do this while I’m driving. Older episode (Dave only) content is great.

  • Latest update really messed it up

    Just updated and now if I switch to another app, it doesn’t show the episode I used to be listening to when I go back into the Ramsey app. I have to literally scroll through over 2 years of shows to find the one I was on. When I try to delete old shows I’ve listened to, it deletes them all. This is my favorite thing to listen to and it is very frustrating now.
