I was hoping that this would someday be released on Mac and I was excited to see and play it as I had only heard about it before. I understand that everyone's system is different but the only bug I experienced was having to restart my mouse when switching back and forth from my PS controller. (combat is much easier with the mouse, but almost nothing else is) Kudos to all involved and would love to see more like this.
  • How did this ever get published?

I installed on an iPhone 15 Pro Max, and I have a gigabit fiber connection. Still, over 12 hours later, the game is still downloading content. The bizarre virtual controller overlays offer no explanation. It may be beautiful when and where it runs, but it’s a train wreck so far. Refund, here I come.

Great game thank you for Porto g this AAA game to the MAC. It runs awesome in the M3 Max 120fps. I was getting around 70fps in the M1 Pro.
  • I tried to be patient.

This port was done very badly, the frame rate drops badly when on your bike but thats what you do for more than half the game. I thought they would fix the issues but still remains almost unplayable in this state. Save your money and buy it on console.

Death stranding on the iPhone 15 pro max Crashes with surprising reliability. It did so on launch day, and it does so now. This might be the kind of thing I could put down for a while and say the devs will fix the problem and I’ll come back to it. But there’s another problem that’s even worse. The games save system will often freeze up and not complete a save. This leaves the player pursuing lots of progress without realizing that none of it will be remembered. You will need to go back to the last successful file and try to do missions all over again. it’s so sad they couldn’t get this to work properly. I don’t know who to blame, but I will say that the version on PlayStation 5 works flawlessly. The publisher of this port on iphone, 505 games, has tried to claim that it’s a problem with iCloud save files or servers being too busy. Nonsense, I don’t think that’s how saves work in this game. it seems I wasted my money, but I’m even more worried that this is just another nail in the coffin of mobile gaming.

First off the download screen misleads you. The big blue “ok” button is not touchable. The strange on screen controls have to be used in order to start the download. Once you are in game, controller is the way to go unless you have double jointed fingers. If you’ve played this game you know the triggers are used a lot. I cannot contort my fingers to properly play this with on screen controls. Also the text is so small I can barely see it on iPhone 15 pro max. Just a bad port imo. Too bad since this is an amazing game on ps4.

Totally unplayable on Mac with keyboard and external BT mouse, which is bugged and simply doesn't work
