Pretty old fashioned and weird that you can only be friends with your same gender… if I wanted to hit on a girl I would go to tinder or hinge. It is about 10x as hard to find a guy friend that is interested in the things I like and has my sense of humor than it is when it’s a girl. I’ve had girl friends all my life. Just a strange choice for this app.

Bumble has utterly failed in the safety department. I would never use this app to find friends as a woman. I originally thought Bumble was a great place to grow my friendship circle after moving but no, I was met with men lying to be a different gender, women wanting to involve me in pyramid schemes, pornography requests, and countless requests for sexual favors/threesomes. Really disgusting and disappointing on Bunble’s part. I reported countless profiles/inappropriate messages and have never heard they’ve been addressed and have seen reported profiles continue to pop up on my feed. Clearly this company cares little to not all about women/gender minority safety, do better.

Apparently the people at bumble are so misogynistic they don’t believe in plutonic friendships?? It only lets me swipe on men… and these are predatory gay men who are preying on straight men.

I downloaded this app a few days ago (iPhone 15 pro max) and still cannot move beyond the profile setup section. It is very buggy, I haven’t been able to move past the “upload two photos” page. TBD on if the app is any good.

I am trying to use the app but it’s stuck on a main photo of my dog and two photos of me. For picking a photo of myself. I don’t know what to do. I really wanted to meet some friends too. :-(

App is majority gay men looking who will either outright harass you or be creepy and try to hit on you if you meet up irl.

They show your city. Guess what? I don’t live in a city. I live in a tiny town. I don’t want to meet people in this town, I’d rather go farther. I don’t like that my town is shown on my profile. This app clearly is not for me, and given all the recent negative reviews, looks like I made the right choice. Guess it really is hopeless for someone like me to find friends 🤷🏻‍♀️
