Noom is effective and has been easy to follow with little hunger. App is not always intuitive and things are hard to find.
  • Do not download this app

They give you a “free 8 day trial” and don’t notify you when that free trial is up. I did not like the app in general so i deleted it and forgot about the trial. I noticed a few weeks later I was charged $160 for a subscription to an app u didn’t even use or like. Customer service refused my refund and was not helpful at all.

for some reason, there was no option to cancel my subscription. No button anywhere, and i looked everywhere, especially where you can manage your subscription. only other option was to switch to a different plan. i even went on my computer to cancel it, but the option still didn’t show. well, they ended up charging me and it declined. The things the app said led me to believe that they would stop attempting to charge my empty bank account due to a failed transaction. still no cancel sub option. Now maybe a few weeks or month later, out of the blue, they charged me again, this time with money in my account. and guess what, the cancel button appeared after they charged me🙄 i appreciate the app but ive never had such an irritating experience with managing a subscription. is this even legal?
  • Rip off artists

The program is great, and I was beginning to lose weight. But, despite assurances that we would not be charged by a certain date, my wife and I were charged a full day to a week early than what was promised by Noom. If the company itself is not a rip off artist, their computer algorithm certainly are. Avoid at all costs or you will wind up with unpleasant $77 charges at random times.

As a way to lose weight, eat healthier, and adopt a better way of living.
  • The app is so bad

I was actually loving the app until I bought the new phone and now I cannot reset my password without my laptop and I was away from my laptop for weeks and unfortunately will be for a few more fees. The tech support is useless and not helping at all just telling me to get my laptop. They developed this app as an app (feeling so stupid even writing this) and it cannot work sufficiently on the phone. So freaking stupid. I don’t know what am I paying now for…..

When you buy a subscription, Noom does not notify you or give you a warning when they auto renew. They also do not offer refunds so if you’re like me and forgot about it after 8 months, be ready for an under-the-radar charge. Really crappy way to do business. I never would have started with Noom if I’d known about this. I used it for about 2 months with very little results.
  • Passive Aggressive Reminders are a Turnoff

I’m using the app and while it has some great things about it the notifications are very passive aggressive and it really diminishes the enjoyment.

This is a fraudulent company who will illegally charge you. Customer service is complete and total garbage. 2 weeks and I’m still waiting for a refund. I cannot say enough bad things about this company or the junk they try to peddle.
  • Not all advertised features are available

Despite claims in their FAQs and in the individual lessons, several referenced features, such as treat days, success tools, and food lookup tools are not available. Tech support is nonresponsive to issues, mire concerned with getting tickets closed rather than actually fixing the problem. I like the calorie and activity tracking, and daily accountability, but questioning whether the providers care more about collecting the subscription fee rather than deliver the advertised product.
