Get to know your repo

This generates a handy report for any repo showing stats like top authors, amount of activity, # of lines of code, and more.
Though it works with any Git repository, I find it especially useful with Github. When I’m deciding to use a particular library, or contributing to a project, it’s good to have an overview of how active the project is, how many authors there are, who the main authors are, and so on. Some of this info can be gleaned from Github itself, but not in such a convenient form.
The app would be even better if it could recognize Github repos, and show additional stats like a list of forks and users who starred the repo; or reports for a given user.
