In 8 weeks using this app as directed by my functional neurologist in conjunction with a few other exercises, I have gone from looking like a dead-eyed zombie who feels like an elephant is sitting on my head, as I have been for two years, to more or less my old self. I couldn’t look at screens. I felt nauseous riding in cars due to motion sickness and visual/vestibular dysfunction. I cannot believe staring at dots on the iPad (and on my wall) is responsible for this life-altering improvement, but it is. I can imagine this app is very confusing and not useful if people try to use it without consulting a functional neurologist, but using the settings mine programmed has given me my life back. My only suggestion to the developers is: make it so that the functional neurologist can create your personalized folder of exercises and Airdrop or share them directly to your iPad. As it is now, my doc either has to send a screenshot or very detailed settings or we have to program it at his office. It could be more streamlined.
  • I lost all my exercises :(

So far the app works well. My issue is I lost all my personalized exercises from my doctor when I had to restore my phone because the data doesn’t store anywhere and can’t be backed up as far as I or Apple can tell. My suggestion is to create an account or something so data isn’t lost and can show up on multiple devises without having to be entered manually on each device.

For some reason when screen recording exercises, the Bell Sound is unable to be recorded along with the saccade movement. Please help!

This App is indispensable for treating altered eye and brain dysfunction for post concussion patients. For those that gave the app a poor review you have to have someone trained in functional neurology to program the exercises for you. After examining a patient and observing their eye movement problems I prescribe specific exercises to correct the weaknesses. This allows patient to rehab at home between visits. The app clearly states that a functional neurologist should guide the patient through proper exercise prescription, otherwise the app will not make sense to the user. We have helped a large number of patients with this app in my clinic.

My functional neurologist recommended this app, and I've been faithfully using it three times a day for three months. Not an unenjoyable experience, except that it keep losing its settings, especially after restarting my iPad. Using Save As does no good, and even deleting and reloading it didn't help. Fortunately, I can remember the correct settings, but it's a pain having to adjust the settings so often. Oddly, Pursuits and Pursuits & Saccades lose their settings, but Random Saccades never does
  • its effective, expensive, and lacks a basic function

It works, its effective and its expensive. You'd think that for a forty dollar app, you'd get the option to set a time limit. I need to use one of the functions for one minute and only one minute. However, there is no way to set it to turn off after one minute, or five minutes, or any minutes. It just keeps running. And the link in the App Store for customer support, doesn't work, instead you get. - 404 page not found.

I use this app as recommended by my doctor, and helps a lot even though it seems awfully simple.
