    Interface is in some cases clunky, intrusive and does not appear to be quality controlled It’s impossible to open a ticket to specific issues and trying to find a solution leads to circular redirects Inaccurate subtitles

    Provides a wealth of classes from a variety of domains. It provides good content in most cases, allows quizzes, and coding experiences within the app in other cases. One suggestion for the app…when dealing with “Flash Sales” and the available list of classes, it would be nice to have an additional filter on the list of applicable classes to filter out classes that have already been enrolled and only show those not enrolled/ purchased.

    Have had the Udemy app for a while and finally decide to use it to purchase a class. I kept running into an issue where I couldn’t even begin to start a payment, I kept getting a notice telling me to contact support. There is no actual support. There’s a chatbot that’ll take you in circles and a slew of help articles, none of which answered my issue. When I tried to contact an actual person to finally get help I discovered there is no customer service. There isn’t any person to talk to. You’re only option is a chatbot that takes you in circles. So grateful I never managed to pay for the class. If a business won’t back up there product with efficient service/help if you should need it they are literally just out to get your money. I’d say avoid. I’ve already deleted the app and will try another that actually has faith in their product.

    Public Announcement❌❌❌❌ I strongly advise against attaching your bank card or credit card to this service, especially when signing up for their subscriptions. Here's why: Misleading Subscription Practices: While all courses are supposedly available with a subscription, be aware of their trial period tactics. Instead of transitioning you to a monthly subscription after the trial, they directly charge $240, claiming it's for an annual subscription. Lack of Transparency and Customer Support: I contacted their support this morning to address the unauthorized charge, but they refused to issue a refund despite me not signing up for a yearly subscription. This behavior is highly unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. Protect Your Finances: To prevent unauthorized charges and financial stress, avoid using your bank card or credit card for their services. They have a track record of taking money without clear permission and not providing refunds. In summary, exercise caution when dealing with this company. Their practices can be seen as exploitative, and it’s crucial to protect yourself financially. If you must use their services, consider using alternative payment methods that offer more control over unauthorized charges. #fraud

    I enjoy using Udemy it’s helped me gain skills for things I want to do but the mobile app could really be better. Bring things from the website version would be nice this is app is general just for buying courses. Best to watch these on a big screen like an iPad.

    Just downloaded the mobile app and can immediately tell this isn’t gonna work for me at all on my phone. The video feed is less than about a quarter the size of my screen and impossible to actually see any detail. Can’t hide the course notes to focus on the vid either. And It has no landscape mode. I love Udemy but this app blows. Should be a zero-star review. I gave it a one because it does run but that’s about it. Not useful at all as a learning tool.

    The app for ipad is impressively bad. Please allow me to actually open my lists and give a workable PiP feature. Without it, it's basically useless.

  • Small annoying things about the app

    I love Udemy but the app can get annoying sometimes. When you pause a video it will automatically start back playing, even if the screen is not even on. This has happened so many times I’d be sleeping or cleaning up and suddenly a video is playing that I’d paused earlier. The irony in that is when I close out the app completely and return it always shows a “resume video” in the lower right corner that was not the last lesson I was watching. This app never shows me the correct lesson after restarting app.
